Hi, here is a Muslim Yemeni, and I'd like to say that this song is amazing and the meaning behind the song is also so brilliant. I don't know why I'm discovering this beauty now. It's just magnificent. All love to Jewish Yemenis. ❤
Im just a jewish dude from the US. In my ignorance, i would assume a Muslim Yemeni would simply people who are jewish - especially now.
Thank you for sharing and thank God I was wrong.
American Christian here. Thanks to this song, I just found out what the Yemeni Jews are facing. My heart goes out to them, and I want to learn more about them and if I can help in any way. And I want to find out more about who produced this music video, too ❤

Hey cool girls! I am Peruvian lady who lives in UK. I love your music ❤
I have been looking for this song for months and I finally found it, I am so happy!
I love to hear music from other Jewish cultures, I am Ashkenazi and from Canada.
It’s amazing how much Yemen touched so many parts of Africa and Middle East. We had Yemenis living with us in the interior of East Africa till the mid eighties. They still live on the Kenyan coast.
I am so glad to see people from all over the Middle East praising this song. May we learn from our long history and not keep repeating the same mistakes of baseless hate that has led to so much pain, loss of life and dislocation. May there be peace, and prosperity for all the peoples of the Middle East and the whole world. May we work together to solve our problems and build a brighter future for everyone.

@theraconteur1 in Israel. Not Israel/Palestine
@theraconteur1 first of all, shut the fuck up. Second of all, "Arab" Jews live today live mostly live in Israel, and before Israel's re-establishment they didn't consider Palestine as their home land, they considered Eretz Yisrael as their homeland.
Third, Mizrahi Jews were almost never a part of Kibbutzim, and the children were sent to schools and boarding schools with the Parents permission.
Fourth, the song is about how Yemenite Jews FLED specifically to ISRAEL, not Palestine, how they were treated as primitive and about Yemenite Children affair. Today, unlike the past, Yemenite Jews are not persecuted or looked down, so your fake sympathy doesn't do anything.
Also, Yemenite Jews didn't have tribes, they were just Jews.

Our purpose was never to call the arab countries home. They were temporary homes which we rented, and prayed to return back to the land of our forefathers. Yemenis and other Arab nations kicked us out, and we will not return to live there again.
Yemen Jews always creative , thanks to all our brothers
Kamal AlShami thank you toda from a Yemeni jew from Israel 💚
Jews in yeman are practically non-existent as yeman prisecuted them and massacred them and forcibly converted their children to islam.
There are less than 100 Jews in yeman today after many rescue operations from Israel and the USA because yeman refused to let them immigrate even though they openly admitted to not be able to protect them from Muslim attacks.
@@talsapps
No one touched them, They were live along side Muslim Yemeni for decades till Eroupean (israil) invaded Palestine, then people started to annoy them.
Never forget what israil did to the children of Yemeni jews, they're lost till today in Israil. As reports say they must had been under Experiments.
However we still brother bound bb our blood relations.
@@southarabia0
No they haven't, they were prosecuted and massacred regularly.
BESIDES what do the yemani Jews that live in yeman HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE JEWS IN ISRAEL?
This is the most stupid and racist excuse I've ever heard.
@@southarabia0
Also it wasn't an Israeli policy to steal children, it was a bunch of criminals that stole the children and it happened in many countries not just Israel.
I honestly wish the Western world showed more of the good sides to Yemeni people
_(and not _*_JUST_*_ the cultural politics of war and human tragedy)_
Israeli Jews from the yemanite diaspora, singing about the return to the land of Israel and its blessed fruits.
This is absolutely amazing, a fantastic fusion of Middle Eastern flavours with a rhythm to die for......I love the meaning of the words and how they have put it to such a beat..... Shabot Shalom......
We love you from Yemen.
i demand that Saudi Arabia immediately stop waging war in yemen! much love from morocco for the yeminis

Inshallah one day! The saudi government know how valuable Yemen can be which is why they want to take control before it’s sleeping ppl can wake up! And so is the Arab Emirates they have conquered an island in Yemen called socotra trying to steal its dragon blood trees to plant in their country and to build there own embassy on Yemen land without permission but in force! 🤦♀️ instead of realizing we’re all brothers and sisters
All they think about is there own selves!
To anyone who doesn't understand the meaning of the song it is about Israel and how it doesnt compare to Yemen, they are singing about their grandmother's experience on how Yemenite Jews fled to Israel in the 1940's and were put in camps and discriminated against by other Jews. In my eyes Yemenite Jews are so special, especially seeing as they kept proper Hebrew alive and are considered to be the most Jewish of all jews. ❤️
*It’s because the very original Jews were ancient Yemeni tribes (and kingdoms) and the Torah was born and written in ancient Yemen 🇾🇪. It’s long story short here but much of the history was lost and written by the countless consecutive civilizations in the region and sealed by colonialism, and that’s given how very old and ancient it is. 🥸*
Oh and what? They sing arabic. They support arabs. And after that is Israel guilty or they self?
They said the song is about How Yamanies women suffered as jewish in Yaman, before they came to the free world in Israel.
Les yéménites sont les purs juifs de descendance Hébreux, les autres juifs sont de religion juive mais ne descendant pas des hébreux.
You're wrong;
THERE ISN'T one ethnic origin that is "the most Jewish", but ALL origins are "real jews". true, some origins have bigger percentages of religious jews to them - but it has nothing to do with "real" or "fake" jews or who's the "most Jewish".

If they come to Yemen, they will have plan against the Arabs.
This is soooooo different and cool!!! I am glad Israel is finally recognizing Sephardic music!
In love with this song , greetings from Morocco 🇲🇦
I'm yemeni jewish, for those who don't really know the reality today in Israel for us, the third generation of yemeni jews, we are fully integrated in Israeli society and being yemeni jewish is something I get to say loudly and with pride here. Israelis see yemeni jews as those who kept their traditions and uniqueness slightly more than the rest of the Jews in Israel. Racism in the third generations is irrelevant and its totally a none issue. Thats why we often forget or belittle what are grandparents went through. These songs bring life to the vocies of our grandparents who gave us everything for us to live freely and happily.
Hey I’m a Yemeni girl I just want to say Toda raba ani ohvet otah 🙌

Much love to all-this is the way. Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. ❤
Awesome! I loved it it. May love and peace be upon all the people of the middle east, of all religions and cultures!
I’m happy to see Yemen is still there in the Jews hearts. They haven’t forgot their roots 👍🏻

I'm an Israeli Yemeni Jewish and I'm dying to visit Yemen one day 😄 my ancestors are from Ibb
you have to travel to Se'eda, صعدة to meet them.. there are still Jewish community there , living poorly and chew qat.
Throughout history people have moved from places to places and created states. No body said "go back to kingdom of Israel" when the babylon empire destroyed kingdom of Judah in 586 bc. Are South and North Americans settlers too? because I don't recall Indians speaking Spanish or English. Or is it just us because we're Jewish so obviously we have all the bad qualities?
Israel is a country, get over it.
@@princessofpower4862 I agree with you, but by the same token, Israelis have to accept the risk that came with the creation of their new state and get the opposition and the terrorism or whatever we'd call it. Nothing comes without a price.
@@laylaqasrany7696 no way! noo I thought they fled 4 years ago but now I get so excited to travel to see them. Thank you!
Roots over everything, never forget your roots, no matter your country, no matter your religion, no matter any fucking thing. Roots will always be roots.
جذوع الكرامة و السعادة و المحبة، هذا هو اليمن!
Roots of dignity, happiness, and love, that's Yemen!
Love that A-Wa is now bold enough to get political; to give a voice to news items like the social stereotyping & discrimination, the infant theft, the crappy properties, the professional exclusion, etc. that they faced upon arrival in B'Aretz, that Westerners only hear trickles of. Say it loud and say it proud, sistahs! This is the #metoo era for refugee rights, too!
Infant theft? Are people just going around kidnapping babies??
