Al-Houthi killed 100,000 Yemenis and there are another 100,000 Yemenis in prisons and cells. The people are not against the Jews. On the contrary, the Yemeni people were a Jewish nation. I visited Kauhava on buisness several years ago in a cold snowy December.
      While traveling back to the airport, we saw 7 stemmed candelabrum lit in every home, surrounded by the deep silence of snow and trees.
      The 7 stemmed candelabrum is the Menora, one of the Sacred Utensil used in the First and Second Temples, dating back 3600 years to the late Bronze Age. The Menora is even depicted as a spoil of war in the Roman Arc of Triumph, and is the symbol of the modern State of Israel.
      I was mesmorized and in utter shock to see "my" Menora spreading light in so many homes in the far north in the depths of winter. It made me fall in love even more with the Finns.

      Nope. They gathered in Palestine because Christians and Muslims were unable to treat them fairly. Muslims kept them as second class citizens and Christians tried to annihilate them. At the end of the day, they needed to have their own state so they can be together, like any other religious group.

    • @kasbahconnexion5895

      You should study the history of several Muslim countries to see that what you consider ''fairly'' was actually submission, oppression and forced conversion. You guys really need to learn to have more perspective when you are looking at the history of your ancestors, you cannot always idealize your history that way. And don't say ''you''. I am not Jew, I come from a Muslim background.
      And Palestine has always, always, always been considered as the land of the Jews. Arabs had nothing to do there, it was the result of invasions by Omar ibn Khattab. The back-stabbers are the Arabs when they decided to invaded others to impose their religions. Jews only took back what was theirs

    • @scottadler

      +sam m Put it this way -- in 1948 there were a million Jews in Arab countries. There are now roughly 3,000, almost all in Morocco. The rest were robbed, expelled, humiliated, killed, forced to leave, or left under the cover of darkness. The last Jews of Yemen, some 200, were just recently ordered to convert to Islam or leave the country, but without girls who were kidnapped.

    • @h.c.4683

      +Scott Adler Well, Morocco is very different from other Arab states because more than 80% of its population is Berber and being arabized since 1950 (end of French protectorate). They were much more friendly with Jews than Arabs because they lived with Jews before Arabs came to Morocco. They were also some Berbers who converted to Judaism before Islam and mixed with Jews. That's why Jewish people from Morocco are very much related to Morocco, even if they are now in Israel or Zionists.

    • @jacobk2
      @jacobk2 8 років тому +5

      Nana Chacha Yes, BEFORE Arabs and Islam came to invade North Africa/ Tamazgha, Amazigh and the Jewish People got a long fabulously. During the invasion, all non-arabs suffered Amazigh, Jews and any others were massacred in huge numbers.
      But, sadly, after the amazigh were converted from their indigenous/ancestral religion and from Christianity to Islam just within 2 or 3 generations, their behavior changed overall. They persecuted any non-Muslims including the last few natural non-Muslim Amazigh and Jews.
      Even though at times there have been some great friendships between Jews and their Amazigh neighbors still it pretty much resembled another place in MENA where Arabs invaded and colonized and forced Islam on the survivors of their barbarism.
      So every 30 to 50 to 70 years there was a massacre somewhere of Jews.
      I could even mention some of the years of these massacres if you want.
      The key to move forward is for all indigenous peoples to support each other; Jews of Judea/Israel, Amazigh of Tamazgha, Kurds of Kurdistan, Alawites, Persians/Iranians, Druze, Balochs and Assyrians/Syriacs/Chaldeans who are all indigenous to their homelands. Any who have been converted to Islam must resist and go back to their ancestral beliefs or a different more peaceful set of beliefs. :)

    I cannot express how happy it makes me to read these positive comments! The musical culture (and other aspects of culture as well) shared by Muslims, Jews, Christians and others in the Middle East and North Africa is rich, beautiful and dynamic. I hope there will be more sharing of ideas and the joy of music between artists and audiences.

    I realized many years ago that music is the best pathway to finding world peace. Music brings people together, to eat and talk, to have a drink, to tell stories and to dance. I am in, from, and stuck in America; the radio here is all the same, and the music is also all the same, tired, repetitive, boring. I must seek out the music of the world, it's not played here. Peace to us all.

      Love of my heart, my eyes
      It is a wonder who has set you against me
      He dared to eat but not be satisfied
      And as the dawn rose
      My love got upset and left running
      My love got upset, o’ people!, and I am left unknowing
      Love my of heart, my eyes…
      My love has made my eyes cry
      He rose and left me
      And there is no other love like him
      Love of my heart, my eyes…
      Love of my heart, my eyes
      A year and a half has passed and he has not returned to me
      O’ people, he has left and driven me mad
      Love of my heart, my eyes…
      To whom can I bemoan that will understand me?
      To whom can I cry that will pity me?
      Which of you will help me?

      Jews from arab counrties not jewish arabs. arabs and jews are cousins, not the same.

      No, it's Jewish Arabs. An Arab is a Semite whose first language is Arabic. A Hebrew is a Semite whose first language is Hebrew. Arabs can be Muslims, Christians, or Jews. Just like how Hebrews were Jews and some were Christians.

    • @KingpinEX
      @KingpinEX 8 років тому +14

      +Yousef Al-A'ssaf well then they are hebrew's. because arabic is not there native language. but I think arab is an ethnicity originating from suadi arabia syria and egypt.

    • @KingpinEX
      @KingpinEX 8 років тому +18

      +Yousef Al-A'ssaf and Jews come from Judea not from Arabia.

      Again, you didn't understand me.
      The origin is one, Hebrews and Arabs are both the sons of Sam, son of Noah.
      It's the language that decides what is your identity.
      Jews in Yemen, Iraq, Egypt, and Morocco are Arabs.
