I love million dollar man entrance song. One of my favorites. I miss when wrestling had good characters.

JYD was a cool cat . I remember the first time Ted was at Hershey Area. I asked Ted where is your black glove? That you used in UWF /Mid South . He just looked at me ,like wow. The same look Tully and Arn gave they the four horsemen salut. They pointed at me with the thumbs up. They came up here thinking no one would know them .. But I was a Pro Wrestling Fan..... Not just a WWF fan.

This is one of the angles I remember the most from Mid-South. This and the JYD/ Duggan rivalry.

#JYD in my opinion before Hulk Hogan became the real hulk hogan. JYD was the black hogan to the kids.

I wouldn't be surprised. I think Hulk Hogan had Antonio Inoki as his.

Damn, Grizzly Smith was angry at the fans for slashing his tires because he drove with Dibiase.

Sadly, no one knew back then that Aurelian Smith Sr. was a paedophile. I'm still a huge fan of his eldest son Aurelian Smith Jr. AKA Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

@@jpbart1390 I don't feel too bad that the fans slashed Grizzly's tires.
I just looked at it as karma in a way.

Is there any truth to the rumors on the dirtsheets that Ted is currently suffering from severe memory loss due to his days of wrestling?

    • @GoldenEraNetwork

No. It’s not severe memory loss. Taken way out of context

Most guys I've heard in interviews didn't like JYD. They usually say he was stiff and didn't sell. In fact this is the first guy I can recall who really had anything nice to say about him. It sounds like Ted's relationship was more out of the ring than in the ring so perhaps he saw JYD as the real person and not JYD the wrassler.

I think Ted is talking in the ring to. He's probably more answering from a business perspective. JYD vs Ted was big business. The other guys complaining probably couldn't draw money out of an ATM.

Hey Marcus, Brother. Listen. You seem like a really nice guy + I don't enjoy people's failures unless they're pricks (like Hillary) so some constructive criticism: You react like a mark and it diminishes your credibility. Try the old 'Picture them talking to you without their clothes on. It can really work if you so it right. You know that British kid at WSI who does Dutch's show? Watch him. He truly enjoys his guests buthe speaks to them on their level and he never "Gushes" over a guest. Maybe you don't want to change - then don't. What do I know? You're the one with the podcast but I think you can be much better because you seem like a nice kid (No offense meant but I'm over 60 so you're a kid to me)
