Honestly me and the other flutes + the clarinets wanted to play something harder. Yeah the song was fun but it was kinda easy. But we almost didn't play this song because the brass in my bard are so bad they could barely play their part. Even after so many times redoing it they still messed up and other than the like 3 trumpets that were prepared the rest of the brass never practiced and so even though we were an honor band who got sweepstakes at uil the brass still couldn't play their part.

yeah you have to choose music the whole band can play, even if that means that its too easy for some players.
