These videos got me back into Echoes of the Eye, and I finally beat the damn thing! I can't count how many times I beat my head against a wall trying to solve something, only to finally find a clue that spells it out in an area that I accidentally skipped over.
Congratulations on finishing it! I'm having such a similar time being frustrated but OH MY the feeling when you finally find the thing you missed is so good
Bit late to the party, but the landing bay you explored when you first landed on the Stranger was the one facing away from Timber Hearth, because you were coming from the satellite. Cheeky devs know you're going to explore thoroughly the first time you land, but then not think to do so again the next time, because you don't realise till later you're landing in a different bay, and so the lift goes undiscovered until you explore the dam from inside.
33:15 did seem short, but perhaps it was just the incline perception? I hit a bug on PlayStation version where my movement when walking was half speed. I had a similar reaction. I also ran out of fuel very very quickly.
