I’ve been playing since october 2017 I’ve never been this frustrated with this game. It’s boring, no double shotguns and nothing but spray weapons, controller aim assist on pc is something I’m not going to comment on but I hate the state of this current fortnite. Season 4 was the GOAT of all seasons

Well actually, people cared about winning back then more, but people now just don’t know what fun is now. Back in the day me and my friends tried so hard to get wins, now I don’t even care if I win or lose.
Daniel Lopez yes people tried hard but they played the game for what it was. Kids these days just spam walls and walk inside your box with an AR or SMG and since shotguns are so pathetically weak in this game and they vaulted traps it’s just the meta. And because of some aim assist, controller players are dominating the field. You walk in with a AR/SMG and just click and lock onto heads. It’s not fair , the games busted.

Honestly I remember when this game was fun and I would hop on this game... the game was fun back then not sweaty and toxic, recently I’ve started play apex and it has been fun... and now for those who are mature tell me how u feel before the toxic 9 year olds flame me.
I agree that the problem is the players and epics choice with the players. Regarding that, we need something fun like storylines to be active. I remember the meteor storyline and everyone assuming it’ll hit tilted.
I agree with you. I can’t relax unless I want to be put to sleep by a lobby full of either bad players or bots. And I can’t try without my head being grabbed and ground into the concrete by some pc player that wants to be professional. I just want those times were I can enjoy fortnite without trying to sweat like it’s a tournament, where I meet bad players and good players, and not AI or players who will break my ankles 6 times over.

I feel like epic is running the game into the ground. I don't know if it is nostalgia of the old map but I remember it being so much more fun. I also don't remember having so many problems with glitches or broken/op stuff before season 5.

I find it interesting that they say controller AA is “cheating” but glitches and exploits to phase into people’s boxes are so widely used and now we find some are using a glitch to/hold/take floors.

The truth is no update will make this game what it was. Even with perfect balance and fun items, the magic that was is forever gone. Players have gotten too good, and theres nothing to do about it. People always complain that items are broken or skillbased matchmaking being bad/good in hopes of getting the old feeling back. It wont happen. We have to accept it.

I think that when I was playing fortnite, I was always concerned about its future. I then realized that I was not living in the now. After I realized this, I finally was able to see that fortnite to me is a reflection of how I perceived the future and how I was constantly worried about it. I then enjoyed the game more than I did before.

Some time ago, when season 2 came out and i bought the BP. To get to tier 100, i had to force myself to grind instead of playing games that i actually enjoy. I ended Up taking a 3 week break and now find some enjoyment from the game.

its not just a "childrens game", fortnite has had the biggest prize pool out of any competitive game and this is peoples job and they try to make money of of tournaments. If you were also playing competitively like most pros do you would also be complaining

A way to fix aim assist:
Do a public test where they lock max aim assist on 70 or 80%
And take away scroll wheel reset and make everyone average 30 ping
Wolfiez test showed the most fair AA was 20-30%. Wolfiez is one of the best on EU controller btw
Destruction Seeker nah aim assist 70-80% and still scroll wheel reset
If people still complain, just make competitive game modes ( like arena) not have cross play
Destruction Seeker I played fortnite on controller for 2 yrs and aim assist now (linear and exponential) is the most broken mechanic fortnite ever had no comparison to scroll wheel some players don't even use shotguns in comp because aim assist so strong I want aim assist nerfed to separate the good players from the bad
