Linkin Park members are so humble and down to earth, each one of them. Its so good to hear them.. thats what made this band continue its magic for so many years. Love you guys ❤
FINALLY! Reanimation is being mentioned 😅 I really think people don't give enough credit to that album. It's legit my favorite by LP.
Re-animation is a banger of an album. So awesome.
Linkin park forever and always, I love you guy’s ❤❤❤❤
The fact that this band had members like a producer/Emcee who was a hip hop guy, a singer who was a grunge guy, and a bassist who was a ska guy, really goes to show how silly it is when people label them "nu metal", as if their sound was that limited
to be fair nu metal by definition is not limited though, its a mixture of rock, metal, hip hop, funk, jazz, punk, grunge, industrial, DnB and you could even throw reggae and latin in there lol
not really nu metal has connections with all of those genres. you haven't heard of (hed) p.e. but they were the first nu metal band with rap and it's very funky and has lots of reggae
@@gus2n (hed) p.e.
@@gus2n Except LP wasn't nu metal. And they actually hated the superficial way some nu metal acts superficially incorporated hip hop sounds. They wrote a diss track called "Step Up" about the rap rock fad, and Limp Bizkit in particular. Chester even said he hated nu metal.
@@PenneySounds hate to break it to ya but if you blend rock, hip hop and industrial in 2000 like LP did then.... All nu metal bands said they weren't nu metal back then anyway but now i think they accept it. Plus LP toured with bizkit lol
Really enjoyed this interview. Great hearing from Dave and getting his perspective as he's not often a focus point within the band, and the interviewer clearly knew his stuff but came across as both fan and professional. Great stuff all round!
He along with Brad and Rob are really underrated
You r an amazing musician Dave- so talented, intelligent, n humble!!!! Thanks for this interview!!!
*Masterpiece era... :-')
