@@falcosworkshop2436 There's actually a strange issue on the MTM Instrumentals CD, where all the tracks were given excessive side-chaining, making them sound worse in the process, so having a copy of Given Up without excess compression is handy, and that might've been what the OP was reffering to.

It's because the others were properly unmixed for the Rock Band/Guitar Hero games.

All of them were official, the ones that were put out there were from Rock Band or Guitar Hero, those usually are given by the label unmixed, that's why they sound so odd compared to the official mixed and mastered tracks like this one (and for whatever reason when the Hybrid Theory instrumentals were leaked One Step Closer was still the unmixed version and not the actual official instrumental).
