Listening to Mothers' Voices

USF COPH Faculty Dr. Jennifer Marshall in partnership with the Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions discussed their interviews with women who have had recent birth experiences. Healthy Start coalitions shared these audio recordings of those conversations with FPQC Mother-Focused Care (MFC) Initiative hospital teams in their communities and encouraged hospitals to share with staff and consider their role in providing high-quality, respectful care to their patients.
