I have same problem with BCA 762x39 extractor. Less than 200rnds since purchased, and extractor broke today. Calling them tomorrow, but Black Rifles AR500 steel extractor looks like better design.
After 45 rds, my extractor also broke today....sent an email to customer service, I'll be waiting for a reply...they immediately sent me a new extractor...seems a bit different. Used it at the range and shot quite a bit of steel...I tried to break it, but no luck. If it's going to break,, let it happen at the range. So far so good. I bought Two more extractors from another manufacturer to have on standby.
Yeah kinda sucks. But they did send me a new one... I'm thinking it was a combination of firing steel case ammo and the violence of firing them out of a short barrel. So far with a heavier buffer it seems to be better but I'll update after a couple hundred rounds. Good luck to you
Their customer service is usually great but I use exclusively brass ammo and my extractor broke today on my 16" upper from them after less than 2 mags. So it's not your fault my friend!

I’ve been hearing of broken extractors from steel cases ammo. Bear Creek sells an cold forged extractor. Do you know if the one that came with yours is cast or forged? It makes a difference with steel.
I used exclusively brass cased ammo on mine and just had the extractor break on mine at the range after like 40 rounds. So it's not the ammo they just use cheap parts, I still like a lot of their products and they perform well for the price but they need to start using or making better bcgs or at least extractors because it's almost 100% not the ammo or user error when it comes to most people.
All or mine broke and they are all under gassed by a little bit. It's a common issue that Bear Creek knows about. They refused to build the upper with the enhanced extractor but they'll send you one if you break the playschool one that's sold with their uppers.
My bca 7.62 x39 break lugs extractors every 1000 rounds I've learned to keep spare parts in range pack bear creek will fix

I just broke another extractor yesterday after about 120 rounds on it while adjusting red dot
Dang that sucks... Was it the factory or aftermarket one?
That was on my10.5 pistol build.Never had a issue with my BCA 16" upper in x39 on rifle build.
@@petersullivan1367 yeah the shorties are harder on the system than standard length barrels

Got a bca upper I just fixed that same issue on my 556 used cheep steal and it broke it lol quick fix
Your breaking extractors because your over gassed.
Yeah, which is probably why the heavier buffer should work. I guess I could also get an adjustable gas block as well
I have a 16” upper I run a h3 with flatwire spring. About 2k rounds with original extractors. I do have a spare in grip though.
@@biggeorge2964 what brand flatwire

@@joerunser2150 if it’s undergassed I’d check gas block alignment.Never heard of a bca that wasn’t overgassed.
