There was absolutely NO BETTER TEAM to do this to than the Dallas Cowboys.
This being on Geriatric Jones' birthday is the ultimate cherry on top
4:18 we don’t eat Lay’s in Detroit; we eat Better Made.
"Dan Campbell went back home with more than just a chip on his shoulder. He had a whole bag of Lays up there." 💀
This is Larry David level petty, Dan Campbell took one look at last years tape and said “Okay🙃”
Cue "Frolic"...curb Jerry Jones' enthusiasm...
...and raise mine!
Dude I fucking love you. Not just the underrated special teams, but the pettiness. I’m here for it.
7:26 Reporting as eligible on a KNEEL DOWN 😮😅💀
Well I'm happy about this for two reasons: I don't think anyone will ever doubt a Lions lineman reported properly ever again, and DALLAS GOT THE SHIT BEAT OUT OF THEM!!!! WOOOOO! I live in Texas and absolutely HATE Dallas. I dance a jig if they lose by one, I dance a jig when they lose by 30+. My smile is bigger though, the bigger the loss.
HATE Dallas but LOVE the Texans tho 😝
lions villain arc
Honestly if this was a tv show, the lions getting a villain arc woule be one of the hardest things ever
The strouds are the real villains
Nah, they're heroes. Cowgirl fans are the worst.
@@Captain_Neckbeard they’re heroes now sure. But just wait till the dynasty is established
@idawg7332 Strouds are the heroes, the chiefs, refs and swifties are the villians
Love the video bro keep it up. As a die hard lions fan, years of pain and horrible management drove our city nuts. Ben Johnson called another masterpiece of a game.
If you're going to be petty, it might as well be against the former "America's Team!"
I’ve watched this video a few times over the past couple of weeks. It is likely one of the best videos ever ever made about a single game ever.
Nice video. I had forgotten all about that game last year. Just made me like the coach a little bit more. Major smack down by the Lions
This was so fucking funny. How does anyone not love Dan Campbell.
“On just one of the most gorgeous diving interceptions you’re ever going to see.”
Until he does it again vs the Vikings.
The Vikings int was even better too
objectively hilarious. Dan Campbell is a legend for this. I really hope it was the same exact officiating crew
Giving a middle finger to people that potentially screwed over your playoff hopes is not petty.
Loved the "What Do You Do With a Drunken Sailor?" background music Easter egg.
Dan Campbell has been the best thing to happen to Detroit since the 03 Pistons.
Adds a layer of beauty I did not full realize. As a Lions fan, long punished by the refs and league, this could not have been better
The fact the cowboys are wearing their blues is already a sign of the pettyness. They will absolutely not wear those if they can avoid it, so Dan _chose_ to bring Detroit's whites to this game and forced them to wear the blues.
Home team get to pick colors. Jerry trying for more merch sales.
@@stephenh5944 then in the eyes of the superstitious that's shooting yourself in the foot.
Not to mention I don't really like their blues. Haven't since I learned they have them.
The Cowboys wear the blues 4 games every year
@@bohba13 bro what 😭😭
RIP James Earl Jones
You mean RIP Aiden's Career.
Bro i didn't even know about the petty reports as eligible just to give the refs and the boys a big fat "HEY FKFACE! HES FKIN REPORTER AS ELIGIBLE, YA GOT THAT DHEAD?"
I've only strolled a little but I haven't seen anybody comment on the fantastic background music choices just makes all of this that much more lovely
Dallas and Detroit has a lot of history with each other in pro sports.
I laughed so hard at this. Detroit trolling Dallas has got to be one of the funniest things to happen in the nfl
What the hell I love the Detroit Lions now.
This is me and my friends playing Madden 10 years ago levels of petty fuckery. And I love it.
Beautifully told, highly entertaining story. New found respect for MCDC and his staff
I'ma watch this 50-60 times
The music choices in theae is hilarious. I love that every video is just a pirate shanty
Jared Goff is a winner. He could have torn apart the lions locker room and that would of tanked their team. He didn’t,He helped turn it around and made everyone a much better player. We love him,my grandma loves him,My wife loves him.
5:43 😂😂😂 "one of the best diving interceptions you will ever see??'
Uhhh no. He didn't even have to dive. He just wanted to get his pants dirty
As a cowboys fan… they deserve it. Big ups to Detroit.
Lions trolled the cowgirls and I loved it. So fun to watch. I am a Bears fan btw. 😂
Talk about adding insult to injury! 😂 Oh, and I guess Jerry didn't get the money transferred in time this year!
The Lions were smart doing this. I believe they wanted to hammer home to the officials that they be more observant when offensive linemen declare eligibility. I bet you that no officials group will ever make this mistake, especially with the Lions, ever again.
I doubt the Lions will ever send 3 players up to the referee again when 1 of them is reporting as eligible and I bet the Lions will pay attention from now on when the referees announce who's reported as eligible.
"You couldn't live with your own failure and where did it lead you? Back to me."
-Dan Campbell 2024
hope you hit 100,000 soon these videos have been great
Nothing petty about it at all, a definite statement was made. Every time the Cowgirls faces got rubbed with shit, it had deep meaning.
Dan Campbell O-line will feed generations.
The pettiness just makes this game so much sweeter. Cowboys and the refs deserved it.
I fucking love this and Dan Campbell. Two venti coffees each with 2 extra espresso shots are my kinda guy.
The refs stole the game last year. The NFL went along with it. The Cowboys were all grins and giggles on their ring of fame night. Sow the wind ...
As a lions fan I’m just glad we finally on good side on these kind of vids
I'm from Dallas. I hate the Cowboys. This brought me joy
I too am from Dallas. The Cowboys are bots. Screw ‘em.
Yo that “route” Skipper ran on the outside has me crying😂
The lions got robbed last year.
No they didn't. They tried to get cute sending 3 guys to "report" and ended up confusing both the Cowboys and the refs. All they had to do was kick the damn extra point.
@@0zÿmäñðiås TIL intentionally disguising a play is "getting cute."
Or maybe, just maybe, the guy whose only job it is to know the rules of the game AND who knew what was coming in advance could just...not get confused?
@@sethkrueger9294 You're supposed to disguise the actual play, not the eligible personnel. It's literally announced on the PA system when a lineman reports as eligible. Trying to hide it was a stupid plan, and proceeding to try the conversion 2 more times was simply insane.
No they didn't. They also lined up in an illegal formation on that same play. The ineligible receiver wasn't the only penalty. That play STILL would've been called back.
@@sethkrueger9294 Lions got a chance to tie the game only on a phantom tripping call against the cowboys that destroyed the drive draining the clock beforehand it was just sloppy officiating all around and Detroit is a sorry town that can't accept that they should've just kicked the pat after the penalty
Skipper running a route was hilarious!
Seriously considering boycotting any channel or network that promotes gambling... But then I wouldn't get to enjoy sports at all because it's literally everyone. Disgusting.
Agreed, it undermines the sport's credibility. But, it's profitable.
It certainly makes one wonder about a ref calling ineligible man downfield when it sure as heck looks to any neutral observer like the guy reported...
I bet $20 every week and have no issue with it. If someone can’t gamble safely that’s on them.
Yeah, gambling with corporations is disgusting. Make prop bets with your buddies, have fun.
We had billboards in metro detorit saying "decker reported"
3:15 number 6 ran into a brick wall lol
I love this so much. On a different note, one of the guys in my fantasy had Dak and Dalas defense for week six and got a whopping -3.78 points between the two of them lol
As a lifelong lions fan I have one thing to say, HOW ABOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!
We got 9 points, and ensured 9 months of no Hutch. How bout them Cowboys baby
@@MozzeeFootball4-6 months* and nobody on your team did anything to him he broke his leg on Alim McNeill’s shin. The cowboys couldn’t even play dirty right how embarrassing for you
@@Adri_Unsung out for the season anyway, he not coming back don’t give me that, Lions took an L too
