I'm curious to know how emulator will run on the Switch Lite. Specially emulators for Saturn, Dreamcast and N64 if indeed has a slightly less powerful processor due to claims of not being 1080p capable. I watched some recent videos on the Vita using emulators and it was painful to watch.
Finally Nintendo makes a system that won’t make me feel inferior for having the older one.

Alan Walkman they’re have been no 3ds announcements. Any things coming out are from third parties
Sad that the DS line has more of a bigger library and has more features for portability in mind than the Switch could wish it could have as a portable console. Streetpass would've been nice on the switch since it's a portable console and is very popular atm but it doesn't. It could have an internet browser since the previous Nintendo portable consoles had them, but it doesn't. It could've have no online multiplayer membership like their previous Nintendo portable console, but it requires you to pay a membership that their online works exactly as before when "free," no change nor improvements from it. It could've had a better glass screen so it won't be scratched even by its' own plastic dock but it doesn't. Nintendo could've done more with the Switch, I doubt much things that I listed here would be added back to the Switch.

There are still games coming out for the 3DS *_AND_* the online community on 3DS is as alive as always.

Only third party games are coming out for the 3DS. They aren’t making first party games any more because it’s majorly technologically inferior. It’s pretty much dead (I own a 3DS by the way).

It's a budget switch for those interested only on the games. The commercial even highlighted local multiplayer. Seems like a good choice for people whose last console was the 3DS and aren't interested in living room set ups.

Price shoulda been $150, since first party Joycons, I believe are $80 and some games require Joycons to play so $80 plus $200’s $280, almost as much as a regular switch which is 2x better

Gosh I love my Switch Lite. I have a launch model Switch as well, but I see my Lite getting way more use. Maybe it's because I grew up on the DS and Wii U, but I just love sitting back on the couch playing a handheld. It just feels so right.

Hahaha i know this is a joke but the 3DS will continue to live on for a many more years. I don’t think people realize the scale of games available on the 3DS + that retro vibe. Not only that but its so easy to homebrew a 3DS to play GBA games too
