They make me so emo. I've been streaming this song ever since it came out and even though it's been used by pretty much every editor out there, I just wanted to vid Rini to it. It has accompanied me all these years and it means a lot to me.
Can we talk about Ricky and his mom real quick? I loved their scenes and I love that we're seeing him grow. This episode had very few Nini and a lot of Ricky and I'm so here for it. I think it's so important for him to accept that his parents aren't getting back together and that he can be as great (maybe even better?) without Nini. Doesn't mean I don't want them to find each other again in the future but.. it's just bad timing right now.

The thing about Ricky and Nini is that they have that inevitable endgame quality to them. It’s the kind of love that stories are written about. It feels right, and it feels like it should last forever. Change is necessary and growing pains are an unfortunate side effect of that. It affects you and every relationship you’re in. It’s an adjustment - especially when you’re young, especially when you’re figuring yourself out too, at the same time. I still believe they’ll make it. Because a love like this, one that is rooted in friendship and respect and so much tenderness and care, is rare and beautiful and worth fighting for. I believe in them.
It’s also worth noting that his decision mirrors the Beast’s in B&B in a way. The Beast felt like he had to let Belle go, because he loved her. Ricky’s song parallels that. Food for thought.
The song choice was especially inspired. You know just how to break my heart in the most poetic way. Thank you for another beautiful video!

I couldn't have said it better myself. Agree the kinda love that Ricky and Nini have is worth fighting for, and as are you I stiil believe in them and always will. I mean their love maybe won't last forever but their love definitely deserves a better Endgame an epic love story deserves an epic Endgame.

how they have developed their story they have to be endgame, they just need time, maybe not this season, but maybe next, when they are finally at peace with themselves and manage to have a healthy and mature relationship.
(there is a theory that says that they will sing everyday in the last episode, I don't know whether to believe it or not, we'll see what happens in the next episodes and during the musical, I don't know why but I have a feeling they won't win :/ )

They are so cute together and become cuter together in every episode. They have an amazing friendship. It’s amazing how close they’ve gotten. I died when I saw how he was looking at her in episode 5. I ship them so much. Those two are endgame as well. They better be.
Olivia (the gurl who play nini) is going to be a guest star in season three BUT she still could come back in the last episode of season three and if not she's going to be in season four so there's hope!

I think this episode gave me peace with both possibilities of whether they get back together or they stay apart. This episode did what I wanted the breakup to do. With Ricky, he's finally airing out how he's feeling towards his mom and in a way not holding back and him reflecting on what was. (his song made me cry...) Now with Nini she explored a little of her independence and seeing it's not as easy as it sounds but also I feel like how Ricky is airing out what he's feeling whether he was being a blanket burrito or telling Lynne how he felt, Nini is kinda throwing herself into her Instagram and the show which kinda like what Ricky did while they were together. Is it just me but it's crazy to believe that we only have 3 weeks left and then the seasons over?! I'm pretty excited for the next episode because Nini finds out about the chocolates and she sounds kinda weird. We know that Ricky didn't send the chocolates so he really didn't have to tell her and anyway they're broken up so she shouldn't really care... right? Unless she does, but why would she...?? Hmm... ❤❤

Yeah, she sounded genuinely upset. I hope they can get back together eventually, but they still need to grow up as individuals. Perhaps season 3, I think it would be a mistake to bring them back at the end of this season. It sure is sad, because breaking up with someone you love can feel like the end of the world, but it's all about the outcome
i still have gotten over their breakup and my friend is a rina shipper and keeps rubbing it in that they broke up but she literally cried during the break up scene so-

I know Ricky and Nini didn’t want to break up with each other they loved each other so much. I was bursting out into tears when they broke up and when Ricky sang the song (Let you go) if I’m really being honest I feel like they are both going to get back together in season 3 and I think Ricky is going to sing the song that he made for Nini and he is going to sing it to her. Although I have a feeling that Ricky and Lily are going to be dating. But I’m just hoping for the best Ricky still loves Nini and Nini still loves Ricky so I hope they will get together in the next season. I love you RINI

I kinda found this weeks episode funny in a way….but also very heartfelt. I’m all over the place but I’m glad they are able to find themselves.
Sooo sadddd....I believe Rini are soulmates they might be going through a lot now but it's totally normal all couples go through fights and argue but they will come back stronger...those 2 are made for each other. I think that maybe they need to let each other go and find themselves first they're still young and l know that when the time is right they'll find each other again. They love each other so much that they have to let each other go just like Ricky said in Let you go.❤❤😭

My thoughts on Episode 9:
It was a good episode and the fact they made a song within hours show why East High will win and showing North High is being too pride and selfish to win. I think it’s good Ricky open up to his mom about the break up and why things went wrong between and I feel Ricky need an adult to talk to like his mom. I get that Ricky didn’t like his mom’s new boyfriend coming to opening night and that made him upset and I felt that the mom should waited for the right time to meet him. I love the song that Ricky wrote because although it’s a song about moving on, I think writing this will help somehow heal in someway after a heartbreaking breakup. Gina and that guy she met at the airport is very interesting. We will see how that goes even though she and EJ have a thing. Ricky was the biggest part in this episode. I felt like opening up to his mom was good thing and I feel his mom gave him some good advice and although moving on from Nini is not easy, it will help the both of them become better people. That’s how feel about this Episode.
Thanks for sharing! I feel like it was indeed an interesting one. We did get to see a lot of things we'd never seen before, especially with Ricky and his mom. We always got to see him upset about the situation but we've rarely seen him interacting with her
Gina being stuck at the airport and getting her to confess to a perfect stranger was such a great idea too! I love that we actually just get to know the characters in this show
Such a beautiful video. I really like the song you used. Their breakup was so sad. I saw their breakup coming with how things were going between them. Nini breaking away from Ricky and Ricky constantly being worried about their relationship because of what happened with his parents. But I didn’t expect it to be so sad. I teared up every time I played the scene back. Even though they’re not together now, I know they’ll be endgame. They have to be. They’re perfect for each other and know each other so well since they are childhood friends. And in my opinion, those are the best relationships. I think it’s better for them to not be together right now and sort things out as well as figure out what it is they want. It’ll be good for them to be single for a while. When it’s their time, they will find each other again and get back together.

Ya know how they say, if you love them let them go? Well what if you don't wanna let go, if you love them keep them for as long as possible right? I mean, wouldn't you want to hold onto something like that?
Of course, I get that. Love is such a complicated feeling. I feel like sometimes, no matter how much you may love someone, you realize you are not necessarily what this person needs to grow, or he/she is not what you need to grow. That can be so frustrating because we don't get to choose who we love, it just happens. In Ricky and Nini's case, I think it's just a matter of time, but there's work to be done, they both need to exist as individuals. It has always been "Ricky and Nini", never just Ricky or just Nini and that's super important, I think. To be your own person first, not somebody's boyfriend/girlfriend. I hope this isn't a mess, I tried my best to write down my thoughts 😅
