Oliver and Ryan have an excellent off screen as well as on screen chemistry. That's what makes it work and their fans love them. Buck and Eddie make a Great Team whether they're a Couple or not. Buck is my favorite

this was sooo beautifully done and so elegant! I love the way you’ve transitioned all the scenes and how, narratively, everything follows along with the (really well-selected) song!

There are too many pieces in the puzzle which is the storyline here that could not have been fittingly assembled if at least one of these characters were not a bisexual lad of sorts. With all due respect for the disagreeing opinions about these matters, I do believe that if the writers of this show do not pursue Stark's and Guzman's characters' endgame on the lines of what they have blatantly obviously already input in the stories of these same characters and it is clearly expressed in the selected and well-done edition of this video with all the shreds of evidence which abound in it, the writers of this show are either complete idiots or mischievous liars. Anyway, the one of them who is more likely to be bisexual is by far Buck. So alternatively maybe Buck will not end with Eddie, but then he will probably fall in love with another guy.
I watched an interview (sorry forgot which one) and the guys were asked if they were interested in filming Buck and Eddie in a relationship. Oliver Stark seemed more into it than Ryan Guzman. It might not be the writers that are keeping them as friends. It would be nice to have more bi representation on tv. As a bi woman I understand Ryan Guzman's reluctance. He probably doesn't want homophobic/hate messages/mail. My son's father is the only person that has said something homophobic to me. He said that it was a sin to be gay (I am not religious). He also asked his mom what she thought about bi people. She said that we were confused on if we were gay or straight. He embarrassed me with that question. I left him a few months after that happened partly because of that but for a few other reasons that I won't say on here. I just don't understand how he could go from being ok that I am bi to a homophobic person even with his sister a lesbian. I am just glad that my husband treats my son as if he was his own. @@babsxg I am not in the hollywood industry (live a few minutes from Dayton, Ohio). The closest I have come is when a local news channel did an interview with my friend when her fallen soldier friend's body went from the air force base to the funeral home. I didn't do an interview because I didn't know the soldier. The local news were actually on their way to the elementary school when she shouted at them. I guess they felt bad so they interviewed her after they were done at the school. She was pissed off because The Westboro Baptist Church were in town to protest the funeral. What I do know is from interviews for different shows and movies I have seen is that actors/actresses can have writers and directors change something they feel their character might or might not do or if the actor/actress is not comfortable with the script. Some even turn down roles because of a problem the have with the script. It could also be something was filmed but didn't feel right to someone at the studio. In this situation it might not even be Ryan Guzman or the writers that are keeping Buck and Eddie as friends. Last year Ryan Guzman did get in a bit of trouble with the cast about comments either his wife or himself made. I am not attacking Ryan Guzman at all and if it seems like I am I'm sorry. I am trying to show different scenarios for why we might not get a Buddie relationship. I also have ADD and a lot of times I have a hard time expressing myself with tons of thoughts going on or thinking I might say/write the wrong thing.
okay, so I am rewatching 9-1-1 and I am currently watching episode 8 of season 2 called Buck, actually. It´s the episode where the clip in the beginning is with the old man. I don´t know if it has any meaning or if it was planned, but I found some interesting points. -this is after Buck finally let Abby go -the first time he starts hooking up with Taylor -says, he wants something real, not just hook ups like before (even though he does it) -this episode shows a love story of this old gay couple. How they met, how they grew old and died together -this man was talking about love to Buck and Buck says he hopes to find it one day I don´t know if this might be foreshadowing for either Buck/Eddie or Buck/Taylor, but it´s certainly interesting
