Ok for everyone complaining about Serj, he had back surgery before these shows and then tested positive for Covid shortly after. So shut up.
You're putting too much on SOAD's back , guys. These shows are "emergency" ones, because they are fundraising for helping Artsakh. This subject has been putting them under a lot of stress recently. Also, Serj went under a back surgery. The way his voice fails sometimes, reveals that he is still recovering.
If they are happy or not about being SOAD again, this is a completely different thing.
Anyway he's not at his best for soad, he makes different music now

I'm sad for John and Shavo. They still enjoy it and try to make a great show, and watching Daron and over all, Serj, like that must be so frustrating
It seems like all those who were present and commented on the videos of this performance...loved it. What else matters? If the collective live experience was enjoyable, that is most important.

The host of arena put his fee right in that pocket. That's why his is chill imagining a luxurious barbecue somewhere in Yerevan.

It had to be fun playing new songs for the first time in over 16 years, I can't what to see what this "new era" in System of a Down will bring us
the new soad era will bring a boring serj and daron shavo and john trying to keep the band alive, its sad to just see them stand there like robots

I think Serj actually sings better than a couple of years ago, ofc not as good as in their early days, but still kind of in point. I think the break helped him to start enjoying soad again

@@misanthrope5380 thank you. Also, if he was still recovering, they should’ve just waited until he was done. I don’t think the show would’ve looked any different. I almost spent a ton of money to go to this show and fly to Vegas, and I’m glad I didn’t.
Well, dont know why im kinda disappointed? Seems like only John really enjoys and try to give us his entire attention and skill. Maybe its just video quality and ofc i wasnt here live, but at this video they dont look really happy about being Soad again ☹

Veámoslo así: Ellos ya son mayores, sus voces, su actitud ya no es la misma a la de hace 20, 15 o 10 años.
Daron y Serj están perdiendo la voz, es muy notorio (para mí era frustrante que Serj no cantara como en 2005), pero tenemos que aceptar que los ídolos envejecen. Disfrutemos lo que por el momento nos ofrecen.
