First of all, really well done on the gauntlet. Always fun to see some good old free building without 3D patterns.
You mentioned the wrinkles that you can see on cardboard when you bend it, and i have a tip for you (if you don't already know it that is). Basically, you can use any all purpose filler (the type of stuff you can use on interior walls) and cover the surface of cardboard with it, let it dry and sand it back. This method allows you to get a really smooth surface finish on cardboard, and allows you to shape and form the cardboard a lot more (bending it in a similar way to foam) as you don't need to worry about the surface imperfections this will cause. I find adding in a bit of PVA to the mix (i use a nice quality PVA wood glue but any works) makes the filler a lot less viscous, allowing it to be easily spread over props. This also helps the fillers durability, as raw filler sometimes crumbles due to it being very brittle, the PVA also helps it adhere to the cardboard really well. Finally, you can use your finger and a dab of water once its dried to smooth out the filler, like you were sanding it, saving you a tonne of time getting a really smooth surface finish. The one downside to this method is you spend hours sanding and it creates more dust than you can possibly imagine, but it does leave a finish that nobody can tell is cardboard underneath.
This is less a tip and more a recommendation for metal markers. I use a brand called Pentel. They make gold and silver paint makers, which i find give a more durable and realistic metallic effect than sharpie ones once they've cured (though they do take a whole day to cure so there is a downside). Similarly, they're not too expensive.
It's really nice to see a video with actual video production. Before i embark on a project i fish around to see what other creators have done to steal little tips and tricks which make the prop better. It's refreshing to find a video that has a good prop and good editing as well, as it brings a nice break to the hundreds of shakey, low resolution and poorly shot videos i sift through before i make something. Really well done on the prop, and editing too, as i know from experience filming a build makes it 10 times harder as you can't just make the thing, you have to constantly think about shot positioning and if the camera can actually see what your doing lol.

Nice build my man! what i would recommend is putting another piece that is shaped just like the plate on the back of the hand in between the fingers and the actual plate to cover up that gap where you can visibly see the glove that has been painted over. (Odin makes made the same mistake on his gauntlet) Just a suggestion.
