  • In this video I cover the new DeWALT "High Precision" laser level- DCLE34033D1. I chose this model since I'm already highly invested in the DeWalt platform and it looked like something that would benefit me on both interior and exterior applications. Having the label "High Precision" sparked my interest- accuracy is everything, if you're a DIY enthusiast or a residential builder- accuracy is something you cant get enough of. I was excited to unbox this and give it a good test run after reading 5 star reviews across the board on amazon. As I describe in the video, most of those reviews came from the Vine program. Amazon sends out free products to be reviewed by "expert reviewers". You'll see in this video if their reviews are accurate, or maybe I was sent a unit that made it past QC.

When my M12 Milwaukee 3-plane laser blinks, it's mechanically past the point where it can self level. I just re-adjust the unit to within self-leveling tolerances and it works great.

Are you talking about where I pointed out that the Dewalt was blinking?

I ordered two of them... both had more 1/8" with in 15' in the 360 test my 6 year old 12v dewalt is 1/8" in 30' in my testing. Returned them both of the "high precision" junk

I really want it to be a good product. I mean it’s one heck of a deal for everything included. Everything worked as it should.

It is pretty large. Do you not think the jumping is an issue?

@@CRCarpentryRemodeling I think the size of it is what is causing that jumping issue, I don’t know if you have the brand Huepar in the states, it’s sold on Amazon I’ve had them for years about £150 for them and I can’t fault them just as good as the named brands
