That was meant to be that way. More support. Just stick to that story.
This has always been a mystery to me - thanks!
I'm not even sure how you got away with making them drawer slides the exact spacing of the drawer depth. had the shim at the bottom drawer and what appears to just be the side of the drawer as a spacer.
I'm a cabinetmaker. Been there done that. I usually like to make my drawers 1/32 small and they slide perfectly on the ball bearing guides. If I've screwed up and made the drawers too skinny I can shim the guides out. Not a problem
Would ya look at that????
Oh gosh, darn it would you just look at that?
Wow great thank you
I saw people cut like that but I never knew why. Thanks for your video! The content is very necessary.😊
Happy to help!
I would dip the ends in a copper based preservative, prime all sides, and smear both sides of the joint with caulk.
Won't the wax get on the wood and ruin the staining?
Possibly, but it’s just a thin layer and you should always be sanding before any top coats or stain, I’ve never had issues with stain.
Honey, time to paint the house again!
Replay the whole damn thing at it one at a time that's the worst thing you can do right there that you're doing
Come again….?
If its not accurate, you don't need a whole new level, you can just go to many hardware stores and ask for a new bubble for your spirit level. 😎👌
I’d suggest sending the level to the manufacturer so they can do it properly
Yes, I check my levels. Most can't be adjusted if they're out, but it's important to know if it's right or not.
Send it back to the company! Stabilia has a lifetime warranty
Thank you
You're welcome
Thank you, very good point.
That's only part 1 🤣
All 3 parts are on my profile 🙏
3:06 Long Slide! 🤟
I need more long stuff to put in them! The bottom is almost empty :/
This video has to be a masterpiece satire, right?
Nope, these are all accurate facts
ok now what if the door jamb isn't level?
That doesn't matter at all. Flipping the level and comparing the readings is the key to checking if the level is accurate. You can do it on any surface as long as you are putting the level in the same exact place after flipping. Hope that helps.
@@jonlinden481 lack of properly level surfaces guarantees the tool will not be level and will not read level
@@SCARLETBIRDS That's right; as long as the bubble is the same distance from center in both orientations, you'll have your confirmation that the level is 'accurate'. It doesn't need to be level to check that. Plus, you'd need another level that you know is accurate to check if the surface you are using to check your level's accuracy is level, in the first place.
The idea is to make sure it is reading the same after flipping, rather than making sure it is level.
@@jonlinden481 ok and now as someone who calibrates their tools the reason you calibrate on a level surface that has been tested as level with a plumb bob for true 90 degrees is so you don't get false positives or negatives for example what if the door frame isn't straight but the tool says it is because you didn't check it with a plumb bob first? it's rare that it happens but i have had it happen and this is why i use proper calibration tools
😂 tell that to these new n home build companies
Facts!
Is this a real thing? Ive never seen anyone in any trade test a commercially made level for accuracy. Well, unless it was visibly messed up
What if it's only slightly visible and you don't notice?
@@jonlinden481 then it's probably fine for most anything people would use a level on
That’s the mentality of someone who just settles for “close enough” always inspect for accuracy. 1/16 inch compounded can add up to quite a bit
@@CRCarpentryRemodeling Sure it CAN. I'm not advocating for it. I'm saying I've never seen anyone check for this before and never seen any failures caused by it. What are you doing at a scale requiring a level that large, that also demands that sort of precision?
@@outsider344 here’s a quick easy example siding courses clapboard. It’s pretty common to level off every couple of rows so if you’re working with a two-story house, you could be considerably off at the top.
Who gave you that hicky?
your voice is so calm 😂
Thanks
Just use the clutch on the drill with anti kickback. Can't go wrong
Anti kickback chuck? Or are you referring to the clutch? It is a great tool to use, but sometimes you need the full power to send it with a big drill bit
@@CRCarpentryRemodeling I meant the clutch yes. Lemme edit and correct that. Anti-kickback is way better
Listen, stop selling me stuff man. My wife is going to bury me with all of the stuff I purchased and didn't need then I'll be back like Marley's ghost to haunt you day and night FOREVER!
😂😂😂 my bad.. my bad. I’ll cool it with the product displays
@@CRCarpentryRemodeling 😂😭🤣😭😂
Or buy a Stabila.
This is literally that…
Hey Andrew Tate got a real job now I respect the man😂👍
Sure now get medical attention for your elbows, wrist and shoulders 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Skilled workmanship
Is that a birth mark or a crazy bruise
Birthmark, I wish I had a cooler story though
@@CRCarpentryRemodeling Pretty dope birthmark tho.
Was going to say, you should have said it was a hickey. And never replied to anything about it again.
That’s a big level
Not even the biggest one they make either 😳
Or he's really short
Great setup! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO
Glad you enjoyed, Randy!
That's just common sense Construction
Dang it worked so good it threw my sheet through the wall 😅
😂😂😂 oops!!
FYI A sheet of OSB in the US is 4′ x 8′ and the most common thickness is 5/8″. One sheet weighs about 66 pounds.
No one will know
Rookie.
Yep, would love to see a true professional like you show me how it’s done.. can you link me your channel?
❤
Clever
Cool Tip! I look forward to more videos - Kyle
Thanks Kyle!
That tool has been around for years. He just overpaid for the one he has.
Great job on the build out. Thank you for your service to our country!
Thank you Matthew, and it was my pleasure 🫡
Most people but the peace and caulking you are superb and Superior❤!
C'est bien mais, il faudrait qu'il apprenne à mettre une échelle dans le bon sens d utilisation
i googled it and there are no mention of weight and that isnt even MDF, all that muscle and you think that weighs 80 pounds hahaha laughable. good product though
I don't understand exactly what is happening here, but I enjoy watching ❤❤❤
I never knew Andrew Tate was a carpenter

Oh so that's how it can be done❤Thank you!!
You’re most welcome Kathleen!
