      @bigbearweatherandmore6621  Рік тому +1

      My friend I never said that I always say division Road once you cross the vision road, that’s when you answer Big Bear Lake coming from big bear city. I’ve lived here for eight years I drive these roads every day but maybe put the number maybe like if it was at three minutes and 50 seconds when I said that, just so I can listen to it to make sure that I didn’t say something accidentally the Ivan living here for eight years. I kind of know where I’m driving.

      @limeyprat Рік тому

      @@bigbearweatherandmore6621 Dude, do you want to try responding again, in English this time?
      Regardless, before Stanfield Cutoff was created in 1975, the area East was still part of the lake. A man made road did not stop it from being a lake/water reservoir
      To help you timestamp 01:21. It's only understandable since you lived here for only 8 years. With the damn at full capacity Stanfield area is full of water and still part of the "Lake". The cutoff was created to lessen the need to drive out to Division to travel East/West on the Blvd. Without the dam this area would not likely be marshland because the water level would be closer to the marina or Boulder Bay or maybe even less. I'm not sure the Valley even had a natural lake aside from Baldwin Lake area.
      Regardless, Big Bear Lake (city and otherwise) stops at Division. They wouldn't have built the airport on a natural marshland/lake, it's always better have an airport in Unincorporated County Land.
      Keep driving!!!

      @bigbearweatherandmore6621  Рік тому +1

      Well, I can already tell you I’ve spoken about it a few times on the videos it’s not gonna be any different in the next couple days. The lake level is 13.8 feet below full and from the last month of storms it’s only risen by about just under a half of a foot which includes all of the snow we just had after it’s melted they did the scientific test call the snow box test and unfortunately it didn’t have a big impact this big snowstorm after it’s all melted. Everything’s gonna be out about 13.8 feet below full
      I will try to mention it in every video because I don’t think I talked about it today but I do mention it a lot I really really do so. I will keep that in mind for the future videos because that is very important to me for people to know, people, somehow think the lake is going to be overflowed , but I spent a lot of time discussing why it’s not even gonna have hardly any impact compared to two months ago when we had 17 to 20 inches of rain out of a series of storms that filled the lake up by 3 feet
      And this last series of storms isn’t gonna hardly touched the lake. There are numerous factors, but we only got about 4 1/2 or 5 inches of rain out of it all.

      Aron my bro. Thanks for your kind words, my brother I appreciate you very much.
      So I think it’s going to be a little bit rough to be honest and I only say that because the little bit of fresh powder that was outside of my house turned into like a Slurpee yesterday and I’m concerned that it’s gonna be like that on the mountain it’s gonna be a much heavier snow instead of the Colorado Rockies champagne powder like we got
      And next week we’re supposed to get rain with a little bit of snow but mostly rain so I have to be honest my brother I’m a little concerned I want you guys have a great time and not feel like you’re wasting your money Of course we desperately need everybody to come up here to spend money to help the town but I will always be honest with you guys and me personally, I would probably still go, but I’m not gonna get your expectations too high. I don’t see any more weather coming in when I look out on the forecast two weeks from today so as I said, only instability is coming next week.
      I’m telling you, my bro this is a tough one. I really want you to come up here and have a blast.
      The only saving grace might be the snow cats, and the groomers on the mountain Because those groomers kind of fluff the snow up a little bit if you know what I’m saying, but I hope it’s not too late to be honest
      Sorry for the long answer and not a solid answer. I just have no idea but I gave you my thoughts.
