I’d be interested to see these particles in game use. E.g- how to implement them more, and maybe an example like a character who can shoot the effects!
@Gaming Punches I think @Jay Maltman might mean having, fire particles for example hitting a character and taking health or exploding when they hit the character? Correct me if I am wrong
@@aisforanimate4703 I'm afraid VFX can't interact with the environment because it's all GPU work.
@@user-bb9fe3im9c Why not? If you can play it on-demand, you can make it interact with the environment.
@@catsandgames9871 the physics in unity are all run on the CPU only, which mean that u can't do that.
This is hands down my favorite game dev channel ❤❤
When creating a game, or programming anything really, one of my favorite parts is the "absolute mayhem" at the end where you see how far your creation can be pushed.
At each step I got a smile in my face as the effects got really cool. Thanks, you gave me some ideas for few simple apps.
What i like most is that you are always smiling you make me happy just by watching you
This new VFX graph is amazing. These fireworks are so gorgeous
I always love when i get the notification on a new Brackeys video. I is just pure quality!
I wish Brackeys would upload more. I watch all his videos (multiple times when I'm learning about Unity), and I keep coming back to watch them again and again. There are all kinds of topics he could make for game development. New Features in Unity (which he does now), mini-series (make small silly games), create environments/atmosphere in games, updating some of his older videos with newer versions of Unity, etc. :)
Guys brackeys literally only uploaded once this year smh
Edit: read comments for a rabbit hole of increasing madness and insanity

You are an absolute legend. I was so devastated when Shuriken didn't work properly with HDRP, but this blows my mind and is so easy to understand and so much better, thanks!
Even when you aren't a game developer you still want to watch this . Great Job
You can make some pretty sick effects with this.
inherit position is amazing! I didnt know how to add smoke to explosions when fire disolves but now i do!
fianlly some good tutorial
I was waiting for a new VFX tutorial in unity. You made it!!!
That's so damn beautiful. Thank you for the tutorial and happy new year!
Cool! Happy new year Brackeys! 🎉🥂🍾🥳
Excellent job! A nice, straightforward tutorial. Looks great too!
I am making my own games in Unity and your videos are so helpful. Keep up the good work.
Thats a nice start for the new Decade !
@6:23 To access GPU Events: Edit/Preferences/Visual Effects -> Check "Experimental Operators/Blocks".
absolutely amazing tutorial....I'm really impressed by Brackeys!
Man these tools are really getting good. Time to get started in unity for real :D
It's so easy to understand! Just pay attention and look forward to the next update.
This is so cool!!! Thanks Brackeys and Team!
Yesterday I got my results for my game development class, I got an A+, thankyou your tutorials helped me so much!
Such a wonderful tutorial Brackey, thank you so much :)
Damn Infinity PBR is a freaking loyal supporter
I know him when brackeys used to make multiplayer fps
Excellent tutorial! Thanks for your dedication.
I really hope blender will get something like this when they add particle nodes, this seems really fun to play around with and cycles could add some cool effects
Your channel helped me a lot and made me enthusiastic to create games. Thank You :)
you don’t know how much i miss you guys
The firework scene with fireworks blowing into the screen is awesome 😎
Cheers champ! Happy new year
What an amazing Tutorial, I wish I could subscribe over and over again.. brilliant work.
Happy new year🎈 🎊 🥳
Wow, looks awesome. Thank you.
Thank you Dr. Brackeys!
Woah! I'm really excited to try some of this stuff out!
Ur videos are very helpful
Great video, I really like it. Especially that there is some randomness with each explosion. But I really struggle to put the correctly synced sound below it and it turns out to be difficult to realize, as I did not found a way to trigger audio-events so far. I only could turn the Idea around to have the explosion trigger the particles, but then for the randomness I would need to create multiple versions of the explosion sound.
This is awesome, nice work.
Thanks for the great tutorials!
Brackeys: "and we have absolute mayhem, Awesome!"
my computer: "And now this guy will try to replicate that and I will be fried inside out... Awesome!"
Lol relatable
Haha, I’m pretty sure my computer is going to try to kill me in me sleep 😖
Happy New year 💕
Happy new year :D
Thanks again for this. Could you possibly do a further video on the VFX Graph - expanding on how you can control them via script etc. and interaction with other Game Objects?
Happy new yearrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fantastic tutorial thank you it's blow my mind
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial
you are a hero
So helpful!! Thank You!
Super cool!
*Looking awesome! :D*
Happy New Year, Brackeys! Thanks for the awesome content!
Do you have a video on advanced 2D platformer movement, or do you know of any good tutorials? Thanks :)
That was fun to watch i love them 3D fireworks :D
That is awesome!
I love this man
You are motivation.
Love Your Vids! Best Tutorials on the internet!
Could you pelase make a tutorial for how to make a leaderboard?
Happy new year ma friend ;)
Happy new year
Brackeys when will you be back?
I still have hope for your glorious comeback.
Amazing, I love this video.
This man is literally too cheery to land an intro joke
Looool
When he sang rocket man, i felt that
merry christmas
Best Eco friendly fireworks 😁
Almost 1 million!!
I was almost tempted to try this out myself just so I could make some mayhem out of it... but at the last second you saved me the trouble
Amazing thank ou!
particles go BRRRR
BRRRRR
OMG i allways wanted to do this
I heard Unity is making a new multiplayer system (I might be wrong :P) Do you think you can make a tutorial for it like you did with the FPS tut using UNET? Thank you for all the great vids!
I really love you man♥️♥️👏👏👍🏻
*Finally, I have been waiting a whole decade for this*
oh, noo! Not this again!!!
You mean since last decade. What you said doesn't make sense. That implies you've been waiting since 2010.

Brakeyssss can you do a quick underwater tutorial would love to see how you handle it.
Very entertaining tutorial.
I’d love a tutorial on enemy ai in unity
3-d, like making enemies turn towards you and do stuff, mainly like turning & shooting in your direction
Great tutorial
I'm finding it difficult to control my obsession with Brackeys videos.
Amazing :)
Masterclass !
I would love to see an ice shader graph tutorial
Yes
A channel I follow which focuses more on the visual stuff (like VFX graph, particles, shaders etc.) Gabriel Aguiar Prod recently released a vid about an ice shader. In case you were still looking.
@@moocowp4970 Awesome, thanks for the channel share!
@@ColeWithAGoal You're welcome :)

Kind of random but can you do a video on creating orbits as sort of a part 2 to your gravity episode.
Also, video was cool, love shader graph, and requests probably aren’t your favorite comments but it was a great vid
P.S. it’s post new year
I need the safety glasses!
yeeeeeeee new video
Nice :D
Happy new year !
Do we need a great pc to make this ? Not a mac ?
I can't use Shader Graph because of graphics so i thought it would be same for this...
vfx is love
I love all the videos about shader and particles :D I wish you guys wouldn't have stopped your channel 🙈 One thing I've been wondering for a long time now. How to create this dark scene view? Does somebody now? :)
Wow! :O
Oh, it's Unity Jesus!
The visuals look really amazing, but how do you now add sound effects that are synchronized to the initial rocket spawn and explosion events?
u need to delete system32
You can't pass info back from the GPU to the CPU yet, so here is my workaround. Have a C# script define the random lifetime of the graph and each second, start a coroutine waiting that long to play audio from a source in the middle of the fireworks.
@@tickedoffllama Did you do this successfully? Cant find anything about this online
@@AmnesteyFireworks I have not implemented it yet, but I've spent quite some time looking for any other way and I think it's the best option
@@tickedoffllama do update if you get is working! Would love to see a tutorial or a work up of how it is scripted
I very like your video.
Hi! VFX Graphs are amazing. But just in case you are programming for MOBILE PLATFORMS, they aren't really supported yet! Stick to Unity's Particle System in that case! Hope it helps someone.
Thanks for the tut!
Is there any way to make custom shape explosions?
More of the VFX graph please :-D
