There's one thing you guys forgot to mention... the music! For me, the music is so important cause it... I don't know how to explain that... It makes every moment so intense and wonderful. It makes your heart beat faster when the instruments get louder. It even makes you cry sometimes... Long story short, the music's also an important part of the Harry Potter universe! :)
I know right, in most current films they use already existing music and even though I like that, it isn't as intense. When I went to the cinema first I saw the trailer for Beauty & the Beast and I said to my friend who was with me that I love the music of Disney movies and then during the film (fantastic beasts) I realized that the music in there was sooo good and intense as well and I loved it
We need a "Lovegood" series after fantastic beasts. Maybe even hear about their history in the past and why they believe in the animals and beasts they do.
I think what made it so unique is that J.K. didn't just write a story. She created a entire universe that is believable and in its essence not so different than ours. Because it's not just one singular story AND the fact she's still so very invested in it (bless her brilliant mind) the possibilities are endless.
When Daniel said "when ppl feel shitty about themselves they just go watch a couple of movies back to back and it takes them to a happier place", I was like, THAT WAS ME LIKE TWO DAYS AGO!!!!
My favourite memory of Harry Potter was when I was very little, probably around 7 years old, and the order of the Phoenix had just came out. I was home with my parents who were going through a divorce at the time and constantly at each other’s throats yelling, I was also really upset because I had recently lost my twin brother and I felt so alone. My auntie and uncle came and picked me up and I remember my uncle sitting in the back with me because I couldn’t stop crying. My uncle and auntie were supposed to be having their date night and going to see the order of the Phoenix but they ended up taking me with them. They were hesitant to take me because they thought I would be scared but I absolutely loved the movie and had a smile on my face from the second the movie started until I went to sleep that night. That night my auntie read me the first book and she read a few chapters but I ended up reading the rest of the book when they went to sleep 😂. I am so grateful to jk Rowling for creating an escape for myself and others like me.
People grew up with Harry Potter, a lot of people where near Harry's age when the first move came out, which means they grew up with Harry, or stayed in the same age (sort of) and obviously the amazing books helped a lot aswell. All round an amazing franchise (?).
JackFromTheHill it came out when I was 1 A year old, I was in Elementary and I wanted hit the 75% people in my school who were HP haters What they hated it probably because the first two films didn't have much action and thought it was all about friends. To me the series is about both
Princess Gryffindor 13 Irrelevant but, after my sister was born my dad took me to the movies to see the first Harry Potter movie with me only being 5 years old
Princess Gryffindor 13 in part of the second generation, I read the books when I was 9/10 years old and fbawtft is the first movie from the wizarding world which I saw in cinema. I am a huge potterhead and proud to be
My life hasn’t been easy, just like Harry Potter, I had no parents and went through a lot of suffering. So the wizarding world was my escape. Said from a proud Gryffindor 🦁
I loved what Daniel said about people rewatching HP whenever they have a bad day. I used to re-read the first books whenever I had sick days as a child. They always made me feel better. I'm so grateful that the wizarding world is back! And with such an awesome movie. Looking forward to seeing the rest. I'll be 30 by the time the last one comes out, but no less excited I'm sure.
I just picked up these books for the first time less than a year ago, being a veteran of Narnia, LOTR, Discworld, Star Trek, The dark Tower and His Dark Materials. I'm 55 and enjoying the stories hugely, though I consider the films a travesty off the books. They distorted canon on a huge scale. I just wish the Fantastic Beasts films came with audio description.
@@kyleethekelt wow, thank you for reminding me of this comment, it feels so surreal reading about being 30 in a distant future when I’m already 31 by now 😅 Glad you’re enjoying the books! I think the OG movies are best looked at as their own entity as opposed to a visual representation of the books, because they’ll never measure up. I remember being so excited to see the Quidditch World Cup in the 4th one, and then being utterly disappointed. But the casting is immaculate, the score makes me tear up every time, and seeing Hogwarts on screen always fills me with warmth and giddiness. So I’ll take them. Fantastic Beasts on the other hand.. eh. Great visuals, confusing storytelling. Also, I find muddling the original timeline unacceptable. And now that they unfairly removed Johnny Depp.. I’m still considering if it’s worth seeing the 3rd one in cinema.
May04bwu, I think it's inevitable that this story's main character would be unrelated to the 2 most popular houses: Griffyndor & Slytherin to keep the story interesting. Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws weren't really focused on in the first 7 books.
What I don't understand why there isn't a real Hogwarts yet... I mean you can visit the film set and all, but why not build a hotel to visit, that is really a castle that exactly matches Hogwarts as described in the books?? I bet it would be a gold mine, the whole fan base dreams about living in Hogwarts for some days at least. One could book rooms in the different houses, chill out in the common rooms, maybe there would even be real workshops/classes available in the classrooms (everything just without the real magic), and you could get breakfast in the great hall... there could be the spooky side of Hogwarts, but also the comfy side with the fireplaces in the common rooms... I'd sure pay a lot to be able to experience that...
I WOULD PAY TO FREAKIN BUY A ROOM! NOT RENT ONE BUT ACTUALLY HAVE ROOM THAT I OWN! I DON'T CARE THAT I HAVE TO CLEAN IT ALL MYSELF! I NEEEEEEEED THIS IN MY LIFE. JK ROWLING COULD BE BURIED THERE IN A MARBLE COFGIN WHEN SHE DIES. THANKS. I AM WAY TOO EXCITED TO THINK ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE. BLESS YOUR BRAIN FOR THINKING OF THIS!
right? :D it would also be an opportunity to celebrate christmas together for families... you could do the whole ceremony in the great hall with other guests, who get to know each other at the feast... but I'm sure someone has come up with the idea and had good reason to dismiss it...
Well that is sad for us english speakers. We should make one in England where the school actually is and just have those as things you can sign up to do. Like cruise activities only you are very stationary. It would just be a hotel where you and your family can act like wizards while you being the gifted witch or wizard that you are know everything other than the moving stair cases. *shudders*
Crazy_Panda_87 What about spanish speakers, everyone forget us,most specifically South America. We love the story so much and the only thing me got are the book, official merch doesnt arrive here
cinestar2 how about us arabs that live in Asia, we can only get the books, no plays, meaning , events , or any merch(even the most common official mercy is not available for us) we are basically forgotten more that anyone else, some people can't afford to travel to someplace else to visit any events or sets etc..
I’ve read countless books over time, but the Harry Potter books will forever hold a very special place in my heart. The best books ever written without doubt. ❤️❤️
This just randomly popped up in my You Tube notifications. I'm a 37 y.o. mom, it's the middle of the week and half past ten in the evening, but I'm gonna watch the first HarryPotter right now and keep going this whole week, till I've watched it all.
suggestion: in the future if you're going to feature a promotional band make sure they are passionate about the movie or at least someone who knows what they're talking about
i remember people always either being Slytherin or Gryffindor and i just always waited for someone being a Hufflepuff and until this movie, Hufflepuffs are coming out being proud of being one and that just makes me so so happy :)
I thought I would be a Hufflepuff, but every quiz I take I'm a Gryffindor. I've always loved Hufflepuffs! I still defend them because they're amazing. 💛 #HufflepuffPride 💛
Fangirl Tayla You choose what you wish to be ^^, remember that the Sorting Hat wanted Harry to be a Slytherin. I was sorted into Hufflepuff, but if I had not, I would consider myself a puff anyway :)
I started reading the books when I was only 7 or 8. Waiting for each new book to come out and going to the midnight book releases was so exciting I miss those days.
I wish i was born in that time, i grew up with the movies and im really greatful for that but damn i wish i could of experienced what your generation did.
Oh my god.. I thought I was a weirdo for finding comfort in the HP movies when I'm hungover. It's become a sort of ritual for me. The day after drinking I always spend in bed watching HP and it really does make me feel better.
I remember I got my Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone book when I was 10 in 2000. My dad bought me the movie on VHS tape when it came out sometime later. Yes! The 1st Harry Potter movie came out on VHS! And we bought it at a Blockbuster! Something this generation will never know lol. I was so sad when the last film came out, but now OMG OMG :D
I remember seeing Half Blood Prince and all the others afterwards in cinema, but I was only 13 when Part 2 came out - so my memory of it isn't great. :( When the Fantastic Beasts title came up at the start of the film, though, I did start to tear up a little bit.

I'm happy with any new content about Harry Potter or the wizarding world coming out as long as JK Rowling is in charge of it. Cursed Child and the movies show that it doesn't work out when JK Rowling hasn't created it, but Fantastic Beasts has the magic and wonder from the books because it was made primarily by her. As long as she creates the content, I'll trust that it'll be good.
Dion7 I agree. I am not a fan of cursed child and then i realised that she did not write it. I watched a video and I totally agree that the original books are a mystery novel wrapped up in magic. btw, magic makes a great wrapping paper.
I only partly agree. Although the movies kept some things out, they kept the heart and soul of the novels, which was the trio and the message of love, so in my opinion they were great adaptations and quite faithful. The only thing I haven't liked so far is Cursed Child.
she actually was heavily involved in the original films, which is why they were better than most page to screen adaptions. there's no chance of fitting all the happenings in the novel into the movies though.
The Cursed Child just doesnt fit in. In my opinion its not logical. Voldemort and Bellatrix having a child (like really? I dont think he is able to free himself enough to have sex :D), Albus Severus being a Slytherin (his character doesnt match to Slytherin) and Harry being a bad dad... No. Just no. I was so disappointed! For me, this book / play doesnt count as a part of Harry Potter.
I feel so lucky to have been able to take part in this! I cannot thank the team more for being so lovely and giving me such an opportunity! A great insider to the Wizarding world :)
I don't really like reading books cause whenever I read a book, I just fall asleep. But when I first watched the film of Harry Potter and heard that it came from a book, I searched the all the book of Harry Potter and read it and now I just can't get enough of it. Thank you J.K Rowling for creating such a masterpiece that can make a person addicted to it. Love from a Ravenclaw from the Philippines.
When Daniel said about people watch harry potter when they're hungover or felt crappy, it really does make you feel warm and comfort. Literally, I almost do everything while watching the movie. The one time that harry potter movies really made me relaxed was when I was doing my thesis hahaha it's really fun!
I felt kinda sad when i saw the community in the cinema at the premiere, everyone waving their wands .. i actually cried a little bit because i wished to be there so bad... and i`m just like - sitting in the cinema in full costume and everyone is staring at me like "who the f*** is such a freak to go to a film dressed like that, its just a film dude" Then the music startet playing and within seconds i fell into that world again like i would fall into the Pensieve and i was there and felt all the love other potterheads give. What J.K.Rowling brought to life is so amazing... I will never forget this. And in 50 Years when i'm 68 Years old, i'll be sitting on the couch, reading Harry Potter, looking like the fat lady, and asking my grandchildren for a password they have never heard before. And i wont let them come in until they read all the books and every article you've written so they can finally come in, because i want them to feel as loved as i felt from my early childhood until now. Thank you. But in parts of Germany its hard to find someone as obsessed as i am :D
I love how Newt is so awkward and adorable. Although so is Tina. They make such an adorable couple! Spoiler alert below! Luna marries their grandson. :3
I grew up as a very young child with the Harry Potter films. When Prisoner of Azkaban film came out, I was only 4 months old. As I proceeded to grow, I became obsessed like my mother. I was 4 when I started to thoroughly enjoy the films. I went to the last two Deathly Hallows films, even at such a young age. I cried. I even did a biography project in first grade on Jo. When I saw that Fantastic Beasts was coming out, I was over the moon. Now I get to go through my teenage years with the new cast. I'm 13 now. I'll be around 20 when the last film is out. It gives me such joy that I get to experience the magic all over again.
I was quite excited when I got sorted into Slytherin. My two other besties got sorted to HufflePuff and Gryffindor so we always joke about needing a RavenClaw to finish the squad. I was absolutely in love with Fantastic Beast probably more so than the first Harry Potter movie. Harry feels like you are leaving this world behind to enter a new one. While Fantastic Beast is there is a world and little clues and mysteries right next door. The characters to me feel a bit more charming and relatable if we strictly compare first movies. Especially how they just throw a muggle into the world who has just honest wonder and amazement feeling as if you are that person and fan being introduced to it all. And Newt just feels like the most genuine honest character especially when is comes to his beasts. He absolutely makes you wish the movie was strictly a documentary on all his beautiful beasts and his travels.
The way I see it, both of them represent a very different aspect of the wizarding World. The truth is, Scamander got expelled from Hogwarts for potentially lethal misconduct with a beast, and now he is considered the leading authority on magical creatures. I'm sure that destroying Voldemort was a big deal and stuff, but when you have a series of Niffler related burglaries, invisible demiguises running amok, or a rampaging Erumpent destroying the Central Park zoo, who are you going to call? I'd like to see how Harry Potter would have dealt with those situations.
It's not his particular area of expertise (fighting a war, hunting Horcruxes, and all the stuff he did at Hogwarts is completely different than what Newt is doing), Harry probably wouldn't have done it nearly as well, or as quickly - if at all (he'd definitely need help, that's for sure - though Newt had help too). Alternatively, if Newt was facing a hundred Dementors, fighting Voldemort* or hunting Horcruxes... I mean, he _did manage to capture Grindelwald, sure, but only by taking him off-guard. Harry is more resourceful in this field, and a better Duellist to boot - though Newt wasn't too shabby though. *Harry did have the advantage of a twin-core wand, but he still had to overpower Voldemort's spell through the connection, which is why it saved him against Voldemort at the beginning of Deathly Hallows
man, i still got the chills. started at 12, and got detached from it after reading the book, i haven't even watched HBP & DH movies till now (swear to god) because i didn't feel the need to (and i'm not really into watching movies as i grew older), but i've always known harry potter by heart. and now i'm 26, and this prequel re-lives that ardor that i had with HP first 7 books. been so attached to this ugly reality, really. adult life and all. lol! but this thing will always have a place in my heart. i'll watch it when i'm available.
Thinks: "this video is too long.... I'll just watch like 5 minutes." then: watched the whole thing. has all the books. logs on pottermore. gets my merch. "whoops."
You know what's the wizarding world's secret? Us. Imagine, a world without Harry Potter being alive. Always would just be a word. 9 3/4, just a fraction. 394, it's just a number. Harry, Hermione, Ron, just names. But we, all Potterheads out there, we power the wizarding world, we support it. We make it. We are the wizarding generation.
"suddenly you'd go to king's cross and that wall would be so exciting" 😂😂 so true, i wanna go to kings cross just to see the wall lolll or as i heard the actual wall is at another station
I really can't explain what Harry Potter has done to me. My family was going through really rough times and i would have to isolate myself to distract me from all the mess. I actually thought Harry Potter was overrated till then. I then got the Philosopher's Stone in my school library, and reading the first page got me hooked. Before I knew it, I was emotionally attached to all the characters and the story, and this was the only thing that brought me back to sanity whenever I had a rough day. Harry Potter has changed my life. And if anyone asks me for how much time I will be a fan, I'll always answer with "Always."
I have always loved the things that happen in J.K Rowling’s creations and I know you’d be surprised but I have never watched Harry Potter. After being introduced to Fantastic Beasts by a close friend, I was blown away. I already watched Fantastic Beasts and where to find them and The Crimes of Grindylwald. They were both incredible and I heard that a third one was going to be made and people said it’s going to be even better than the others. I just paused for a minute. “I’m sorry, but how is that possible?” My friend said, it’s J.K Rowling. It’s always surprising. And that is what finally made me get ready to watch every Harry Potter movie. I am blown away.
I can summarize the first book pretty well Your a wizard I'm a wizard?! IM A WIZARD! Oh my god friends Oh my god who's he who shall not be named? Oh my god that's Voldemort Oh my god I really am a wizard
"Voldermort is in it as well" Oh yes.. its great to see that nearly two decades of the existence of the wizarding world has not been wasted on you Voldermort is in it as well.
Oh my god... when Dan Radcliffe said "some people watch the movies back to back when hungover"... YAAAASSSSS Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings plus a pizza or macaroni and cheese - the ultimate cure.
Crazy_Panda_87 Me too, but I was just in agreement with what Dan was saying in the clip. I also reserve these special movie marathons for lovely rainy days.
drinkallthesunshine I knew what you were referring to. I was just saying it was a thing I would do regardless of circumstance. I do agree about the rainy day thing.
I grew up with Harry Potter and his friends. I was 10 when the first film came out. So literally the movies (and books) grew with me. The first two movies were a bit childlike, like us, then as we all grew older it became more adultlike. This whole franchise was a huge part of my life and still is. Me and my mom watch it every single year together, it has become a sort of tradition. And I can honestly say that I still very much enjoy watching them (We're actually in the middle of watching them right now. This Monday will be HP5). Reading has always been a struggle for me but the Harry Potter series really are an exception. Read all the books back to back for multiple times in my life and I'm planning on doing that again after the holidays. (I have ADHD. My attention span in tiny.)
Go Hufflepuff! Everyone thinks that we are idiots, but we aren't! We are the most under appreciated House. We don't get mentioned a lot, except for Cedric Diggory and Helga Hufflepuff's Horcrux. We are awesome too!!
ryleigh under the stars n you are the most recognized house. But Raven claw is the most under-appreciated house! But the Hufflepuffs were under appreciated at one time.
Harry Potter will always (ALWAYS. see what i did there?) be my first Fandom. i wouldn't be the crazy Fangirl i am today and have all the Fandoms i have without Harry Potter. :) THANK YOU J.K!
Hufflepuff really deserved fantastic beasts, it gives us the chance to see not all heroes are gryffindor and also gives an underrated house a chance to shine! Now we need the same for ravenclaw, but im not sure how that could be included. Maybe a key character in the crimes of grindelwald could be a ravenclaw? Fingers crossed.

Fantastic Beasts on the other hand.. eh. Great visuals, confusing storytelling. Also, I find muddling the original timeline unacceptable. And now that they unfairly removed Johnny Depp.. I’m still considering if it’s worth seeing the 3rd one in cinema.
Why are the Vamps here, they don't seem to know anything....
Yeah
@Holden Mcgroine are you by any chance a dad
asked me the same...
yan yan bui the should of speed up Harry Potter in 99 seconds
They*
Aww Eddie was so excited for finally having his own wand! He Is so cute
I'm so happy Newt's a Hufflepuff.
May04bwu yes and also Eddie Redmayne is Hufflepuff as well.. look it up MTV youtube..
May04bwu we need respect for hufflepuff
Ikr, Hufflepuffs never get any love lol
May04bwu, I think it's inevitable that this story's main character would be unrelated to the 2 most popular houses: Griffyndor & Slytherin to keep the story interesting. Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws weren't really focused on in the first 7 books.
May04bwu Oh cool, same as me!!
me too, when im feeling crappy or sad or just literally not happy, id watch harry potter movies back to back and i will instantly feel better
Gosh! Me too!!!
Nad Lutfiah me too
The secret is that deeply in our hearts, no matter how old you are, each person want to have some magic in his life.
This just randomly popped up in my You Tube notifications. I'm a 37 y.o. mom, it's the middle of the week and half past ten in the evening, but I'm gonna watch the first HarryPotter right now and keep going this whole week, till I've watched it all.
go gurl!
I cried happy tears when I heard newt use the first spell it was like the magic is back we waited so long!!!

Livy Bennett oops lol
I cried when he wore his hufflepuff scarf. I was proud when he said alohamora. (Tb Hermione)
You should really do a Daniel Radcliffe vs Eddie Redmayne playground insults video.

There is nothing to insult about them they r perfectttt 😂❤️
never. Redmayne is such a softie, he'd never do it. lol He's done a compliments video with Ezra, though!

yeah, i like the vamps but i find it very annoying.
TheSLeePing13 I think the point was to make sure they know for the sake of comic relief
TheSLeePing13 yes. the camps are muggles. I'm pretty sure they prefer twilight over harry ugh
they should have had Shawn Mendes do it instead
TheSLeePing13 thank you!
i remember people always either being Slytherin or Gryffindor and i just always waited for someone being a Hufflepuff and until this movie, Hufflepuffs are coming out being proud of being one and that just makes me so so happy :)
I always liked Hufflepuff because they were the ones no one'd like to be, It's cool seeing lots of people wanting to be a Hufflepuff now :)
Luciano Batista Yes i agree :)
+Fangirl Tayla hufflepuff pride! (I'm a hufflepuff)
Why does Eddie Redmayne always look so much better during interviews than when he's in the movies?
Coz they made him look like that that was hi character
He always looks amazing!
He just plays the character so perfect
I thought he had autism in the movie
He always looks great
The thing Dan Radcliffe said about u feeling crappy about yourself or your life and then watch it to get away. Thats me xD.
Captain-YoJotji Spot on me too!
I teared up when I heard Hediwgs Theme
1:04 “And some bloke called Daniel Raddcliffe” 😂😂 XDD
The Vamps are cool guys and all, but why on earth are they in this video, they've got nothing to do with Harry Potter/Fantastic beasts 😂
I know right, it's a bit strange...
It's cause they need the promo
I was really confused, they didnt seem to know much about it
they like harry potter?
Emma Sol its radio 1 I guess
I started reading the books when I was only 7 or 8. Waiting for each new book to come out and going to the midnight book releases was so exciting I miss those days.
I wish i was born in that time, i grew up with the movies and im really greatful for that but damn i wish i could of experienced what your generation did.
Oh my god.. I thought I was a weirdo for finding comfort in the HP movies when I'm hungover. It's become a sort of ritual for me. The day after drinking I always spend in bed watching HP and it really does make me feel better.
The Vamps could've just sang Jon Cozarts Harry Potter in 99 seconds haha
thats exactly what i was thinking haha!!!
Areefa S I thought they were gonna
Areefa S I was thinking the same !
with their angelic voice too
Ahha I thought that too!!
I love how Eddie holds a wand through out the interview.
22:21 Eddie pouting?!
Gaaah I can't...I just can't...He's too adorable😭
I remember I got my Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone book when I was 10 in 2000. My dad bought me the movie on VHS tape when it came out sometime later. Yes! The 1st Harry Potter movie came out on VHS! And we bought it at a Blockbuster! Something this generation will never know lol.
I was so sad when the last film came out, but now OMG OMG :D
wait lemme do the maths
It was released on VHS tape? I’m the same age as you and they weren’t around then, they were only on DVDs?
I was 8 when it came out and I owned the first film on video too! I used to watch it every weekend 😂
I was then -7 years old😂
I’m from 2002 and I had VHS

Sh1nrue what do you mean ?
Mrafa 121005 same!
I remember seeing Half Blood Prince and all the others afterwards in cinema, but I was only 13 when Part 2 came out - so my memory of it isn't great. :(
When the Fantastic Beasts title came up at the start of the film, though, I did start to tear up a little bit.

The Wizarding world really is a comfort, at least for me in real life.
Got such extreme passion for it.
It's the best shit ever!
"Dobby's a little elf, also dies at some point"
YOU GUYS HAVE THE EMOTIONAL RANGE OF A TEASPOON!!
"and some bloke called Daniel Radcliffe" 😅😀
The only thing I haven't liked so far is Cursed Child.
she actually was heavily involved in the original films, which is why they were better than most page to screen adaptions. there's no chance of fitting all the happenings in the novel into the movies though.
cursed child what the hell... please let's not mention it ever... ever ever again. can we all true fans just make a deal and forget it ever happened?
The Cursed Child just doesnt fit in. In my opinion its not logical. Voldemort and Bellatrix having a child (like really? I dont think he is able to free himself enough to have sex :D), Albus Severus being a Slytherin (his character doesnt match to Slytherin) and Harry being a bad dad... No. Just no. I was so disappointed! For me, this book / play doesnt count as a part of Harry Potter.
Harry Potter helped me when I was suffering from severe depression. It still helps me to this day. I watch every movie in order every week.
Really I don’t give a shit

I felt kinda sad when i saw the community in the cinema at the premiere, everyone waving their wands .. i actually cried a little bit because i wished to be there so bad... and i`m just like - sitting in the cinema in full costume and everyone is staring at me like "who the f*** is such a freak to go to a film dressed like that, its just a film dude"
Then the music startet playing and within seconds i fell into that world again like i would fall into the Pensieve and i was there and felt all the love other potterheads give.
TheK4thi The people in the cinema looked at me the same way 😅 they call it obsession, i say that I'm just still waiting for my hogwarts letter⚡
I love how Newt is so awkward and adorable. Although so is Tina. They make such an adorable couple!
Spoiler alert below!
Luna marries their grandson. :3
Grandson actually.
Luna is his granddaughter in-law
GalaxyMatty same for me
I was quite excited when I got sorted into Slytherin.
Yume Matsushita yeah, I agree
It is definitely a great stand alone
I never thought of it like this!

If eddie came up to me and asked to borrow the wand id be like " take it! Take me with it!"
He would have called Hagrid lol
It's things like this that make me feel really proud to be British!!!!!

man, i still got the chills. started at 12, and got detached from it after reading the book, i haven't even watched HBP & DH movies till now (swear to god) because i didn't feel the need to (and i'm not really into watching movies as i grew older), but i've always known harry potter by heart.
and now i'm 26, and this prequel re-lives that ardor that i had with HP first 7 books.

Same. My dad was abusive and alcoholic and Harry Potter was the only pleasant memory i have
I have always loved the things that happen in J.K Rowling’s creations and I know you’d be surprised but I have never watched Harry Potter.
“I’m sorry, but how is that possible?”
My friend said, it’s J.K Rowling. It’s always surprising. And that is what finally made me get ready to watch every Harry Potter movie. I am blown away.
I can summarize the first book pretty well
