I've been bowhunting since 1969 at 8 years old (I'm 62 in December). My father and his partners raised me in the Wallowa's hunting elk on the Minam. I spent every September opener there on horseback and watching Cam hunt brings back so many memories. Last year I got head neck cancer and I have each of Cam's videos basically memorized. He's one of my favorite human beings and I have never even met him. BRAVO to another great video guys and another clean kill CAM. I cherished your videos as this is the first year, I was not able to hunt. It means a lot to me that you keep sharing. Thanks a ton to each of you responsible for this, SOME of us live vicariously through you on occasion, this year was my year for that. Great job again Cam and team!!! Peace! Bret Martin, CEO and FOUNDER of Mom-and-Pop Business Funding.
Most people are just here for the harvest...but this man is only human, and as such we need to realize he only gets so many hunts and these that he is sharing are the culmination of a LIFETIME of failures i.e. lessons learned and here is what a APEX bow hunter is, this is literally the pinnacle of physical and mental dedication to self ownership, self improvement. THERE ARE NOT MANY OF THESE MEN IN "MODERN DAY" times, enjoy and if you dare EMULATE.
By farrr the best hunting video production; no BS, just good music and HQ footage. Good job as usual - Keep Inspiring.
The cinematography and music choice in this is amazing!
Watching Cam take in the depth of that logging picture and almost placing himself there imaging the hard work shows you that this man values the art in hard work
love seeing the home land of Oregon represented so well! keep hammering
Whoever is doing your audio/soundtrack needs a raise.
Incredible
I think it’s his son tanner
Love the early days photos with Roy! ❤
Fellow Oregon Resident. Just found you on UA-cam gearing up to start Elk hunting for the first time at 43. Keep it up for all of us!!
What area are you gonna be hunting in? I'll be at the shoot in Notis on the 28th...
Man tbh this channel has got me so into nature and wanting to start hunting!! I got a 7 year old boy and just know this would be the best bonding we could have!
Hard work, discipline, execution. What a beast.
Ole man on the mountain! Congratulations. Thanks for letting us tag along.
Not a hunter, yet, but this is so inspiring and educational. I’m learning so much and it brings me so much joy to watch you through the journey of the prep/hunt/meat as a whole. Thank you so much for capturing these hunts for us!
I really enjoy these videos. Growing up in New Jersey never thought I’d move to the country and become a hunter. I literally learned how to shoot a compound bow from your videos. I’m in love with archery now and that’s my preferred way to hunt.
My son who is 14 years old just started his journey of bow hunting! Hope you have a great 2024! We will keep hammering!
Always a pleasure to experience your hunts through the lens.
@CameronHanes I just wanna say thanks for being such an awesome guy and a huge inspiration. It’s crazy to see people throw negativity your way. I don’t understand that at all. Congratulations on an awesome month! And maybe one of these days soon I’ll be able to embark on my first hunt. If you haven’t already, a gear layout video would be so cool! Thanks again for all the inspiration! Every time something gets hard I just look at my wrist band and think of all you’ve done. That definitely helps me to keep hammering.
This set is outstanding. Well done.
Nice work, and great seeing my buddy Kevin. Didn’t even know you guys were friends.
Just got my first elk this year down in Riddle on the melrose unit.
Absolutely beautiful, congratulations sir.
So excited for this from 🇦🇺
Love the edit with sound and story telling of Roy!
Thank you for all you do and have brought forth and shared sir. Fantastic work. I’ve only started following your content this year and am already putting aside $ from every check for my first Hoyt (first bow period), running extra miles each week, rucking on my days off, hoping to at least have the opportunity to hunt next September. To you and your team, bravo! It sounds ridiculous, but you’ve had a hand in changing my life. I really can’t thank you enough.
Please keep these hunts coming, so awesome 🤙
Cam you are the hardest working hunter I know out there!!! That’s grueling on the body, I couldn’t do it but I’d love too!!! Great job love watching!!!!
Been doing it in Oregon over 50 years ! Solo .
No cameras , sponsors , helpers. Except packing meat lol
The white feather reminded me of the legendary Marine Sniper Carlos Hathcock and was definitely an apex predator hunter a predator. Good job Cam on another beautiful Oregon bull!
Unbelievably beautiful country
Simply amazing! I've loved this series!!
Lost those photos. My great grandfather was an axman and my grandpa a cabinetmaker and carpenter in the redwoods. Got a few good photos like that at home also.
that shot at 20:45 was crazy. watch how the arrow perfectly drops with the incline of the mountain. sheesh that was so awesome
Cam is the greatest bowhunter alive and probably of all time and we get to watch him do it how cool is that. Backcountry Bowhunting is one of his books I fell in love with his stories ever since I read it
Great edits Tanner!!!Hanes in no joke hes a savage!! Getting it done!!
Excellent work! 💯👏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼👊🏼
Amazing hunt Sir! Great video! Congratulations.

Congrats 🎉 very blessed and thankful man.🤙🏼🤘🏼
Mad respect
Another piece of Cam's game, is how he's defying age. What he's doing physically is unbelievable. I'm always impressed. Thank you 👊
Beautiful Shot!!
🎯🏹another Epic Episode, so greatful thank you Cam.
This is a great video. I see evidence of experience watching Cam hunt. He’s a legitimate professional.
Love this! Thanks for the video, inspirational.
Great video man. Glad to hear you love Utah. That’s where I’m born and raised. Up in cache county
Great job thank you for being so inspiring
The subtle soundtrack was on point
9:30 ish "that's a cat..." is what you tell yourself when Bigfoot yells at you in the thick of the mountains
I have never watched a bad Cam Hanes youtube video. Dude is on 🔥🔥🔥🔥 with the content
Gorgeous oregon Herd bull cam!
Beautiful place, great hunt
99% of viewers don’t truly understand what Cam has done to accomplish what he has. He has to be on the same level as Teddy or Fred Bear.
Great hunt.
Awesome video, love the music
❤ Love your works guys
congrats on an awesome season
I KNEW IT! He is a God of brains & bod!
The neck gave it away, even under the black shirts😉💪❤️🔥
hell yes congrats Cam great bull
very very nice video. really love this
First elk I ever killed was a Roosevelt down off the Alsea River by Little Switzerland inland from Waldport OR. I'm an Oregon mountain man born and raised. Now days N.Idaho is my home/happy place but I'll always be "from Oregon".
You said powers oregon and I immediately got excited!! I miss hunting back home in Southern Oregon. What way did you go thru Agness or Myrtle Point?
You are an inspiration to be better, lord knows how much I can improve
Nice meat shots at the end 🥩
Great vid cam
Awesome hunt!
Background music was awesome, great shot as always my dude
The Mountains are so beautiful ,
This way life is Immensely Honorable.
Thanks Cam🙌🏃♂️🪨💪🔨🔨🔨👊🙏🎯🏹
Epic man great job
yessir!! already knows its a banger
Up outta Eugene sure dont look like up outta Waldport. That thicker ocean side must have its own challenges.
great hunt.
Great video no BS approach just raw real life bowhunting. I have a question about the feather you have in the front of your bow is that for knowing the wind direction at the time of the shot or is it for concealment? Thanks keep up the great work.
That coyote sound was wild. Sounded like a children screaming and then talking
Putting out some great stuff
Cam ….Dawg … you the man don’t matter what you do …you it and we all admire it from you … (you worked hard now go get it )shirts buddy coming soon from the cam … you can use it buddy lol 👍.. luv ya
Honestly that such a beautiful place to hunt
8:55 no thats not a bugle. That a demonic shriek 😂😂
another beauty
What beautiful bull not to mention fantastic shot and what about the camera wo r k ?😊
Congrats good video!! :)
Great video and content MUCH APPRECIATED Keep em coming GET CAMERA WORK!!!
Your son is talented behind the lens
Unreal!
Really a guide hunt on a cattle ranch!!! Wow thats elite cam! I live 20 min from there!! Try hunting the public land here its hard.. very disappointing!![
Cam has done many otc hunts on public land. There’s nothing wrong with what he’s doing considering it’s not like you just get to walk out a few hundred yards and shoot an elk.
Not sure why elk at 5:00 don’t flee. The elk don’t do that here
BlacktailTaner, doing really good in the camera💪🔨🔨🔨👊🪨🏃♂️💪🏹,
Just curious, if hunters always target the best animal they can find, doesn’t that diminish the gene pool of the prey over time. Like eventually our family a few generations down will be hunting effectively the dogs while we were hunting the wolves? Makes me wonder what our ancestors hunted!
Bison the size of F-150s
heard you on JRE.
My dad never took me hunting as a kid. Last year i finally saved up and got a bow, and trained all year. Broke my bow string the first week of deer season. was going to do my hunter safety and get everything set up, and get a new string, but then i lost my job. I'm back on my feet, but im still not in a place to afford a new bowstring, and i dont know if anything got damaged when it broke. another year of watching folks like you doing it, and i'll try my luck again next year, i guess. awesome video.
Can someone explain what hes doing at 8:12? Does this attract them somehow or is he just clearing the way?
Simulates bulls rubbing antlers on a tree I’m pretty sure, not sure if it attracts or lets them think that sounds they hear are other bulls so they don’t run
Ive never hunted rockies. Is there a chance that you or anyone else in the comments could explain pros and cons between the two? I grew up and still live on the base of the olympics.
Funny concept : shhhhhh be a ninja …..now : be loud as possible and call em in …..shhhhh ninja ….shoot
I live in central Oregon I was wondering where you shot this bull congratulations tho
I love the swearing , ppl who know there’s a lot of f bombs dropped throughout the day it just makes it feel more personal
9:20.. I think that was sasquatch
What broadhead is he running?
Good hunt but Got motion sickness half way thru.
That sound was crazy @8:54 anyone know what it was?
What camo pattern are you using in this video Cameron?
good ol Powers!
Southern oregon black tail kicked my ass this year.
Got your book for Christmas, what do I gotta do to get it signed?
Waiting for the polo drop.
