We have a Deere dealer that's 10 miles away but they rarely have parts in stock. Our Case Dealer is 125 miles away and keep a good selection of parts in stock. We can usually drive the 4hr round trip or have the parts overnighted from the Case dealer quicker than our Deere dealer gets stuff in. We still run all brands and it's nice to get cultivator points etc that our Deere dealer does keep in stock in about 30 mins.

I’m glad to see your son wanting to go hunting. I still to this day remember my first hunt my dad took me on. Bump him up to a 20 gauge. Remington makes an 870 youth edition and that was my first gun. Perfect size for him. Really light weight, little to no recoil and perfect for shooting a deer!

If you still having trouble with the chain, check the sprockets for wear. Under load the chain can ride up the teeth causing the chain to tighten and putting extra stress on it. Just a thought from a old retired farmer.

With modern equipment a great dealer is more important than color. Any brand will need work at some point, a great dealer is a gold mind in those situations..

We had an incident at our local elevator involving Soybeans. Our local fire department did not have the necessary equipment to make the rescue and had to wait for a team some miles away to bring that Equipment. As a result, there was a bad outcome. They now have that equipment and all Fire Departments with a farm district should have such equipment. You will save lives with your action.

The Larson farm broke their Case quad. One of the main beams on the track cracked in half, I think it was the rear right track, it happened when they were pulling a huge loader.
Larson farms is trying out a Salford tillage tool right now which appears to be doing a great job. Not sure if their soil is a lot different than yours. You may want to check it out.

a few years ago i shot and hit a big buck and lost it. we saw bone fragments on the trail but couldnt find the deer. he'll get one i know it.
