The darkrai was me!!! Somehow I managed to have both my switches were in the deck or prizes and couldn’t do anything. I find the deck fun tho. Very satisfying

In his defense there was a time where Darkrai could learn roar of time so it's not too crazy
Also pay no attention to rank it has never been an indication of skill level. I've had master league players try to Greninja a bidoof and people at 300 rank use absolutely perfect sequencing.
Maybe you played against me hahah. Im at arceus league now though, but Ive done that at least twice. I always forget bidoo's ability. I play lost box.

I tested it on live as well. Exceptionally powerful. Beat that really irritating roaring moon jr deck really fast. Good deck man and I'm glad you're taking it to Arceus.

I've yet to update my dialga lost zone from when metal saucer was legal. Maybe this is my sign to try it out again.
I honestly don't think there's a hidden ELO, but I think it's more a case of matchmaking basing on multiple factors to limit network bandwidth and when you play etc. (usually happens often in game matchmaking systems to prevent excessive server load or cost). This is only speculation on my part, but the "evidence" I do have is several times when I play on the ladder, if I have some friends who live not far from me who are on the ladder at the same time (but not in my friend list, as I'm playing on an alt account for testing), I often (and by often I mean like around 1/4 of games on average) get paired up with them. The kicker is one of my friends was ultra ball rank and I was still at pokeball, and I was trying a load of decks so if there was an ELO ranking behind the scenes no way I should be paired with them as they had a positive win ratio and mine was horrible.
So my hypothesis is just the system looks around you on the server node you're connected to and tries to pair you up with the closest they can find based on multiple conditions but with location being heavy weighted to reduce bandwidth server costs, and it just goes further and further until it finds what it considers a "best fit" in the least time possible based on who is queued in your server node, even if it means your ranks are a bit far apart, as it makes more sense for them to pair up a pokeball and an ultra ball who communicate with the same server rather than look towards another server and incure extra bandwidth cost just to find someone of your rank because none are available right now closer to you.
Once again, only a hypothesis that could very much be wrong and coincidental.

I went from playing Dialga to Scizor EX. Baby Scizor surprising people at end of game for one energy is just as fun as popping a rad zard.

Recently i was going against a ton of chien pao and lost box so i load up banette ex and only go against arceus decks. Switch to Arceus myself and go up against lost box with fighting techs and a glimmora ex (which i haven't seen in months). I never hit a matchup I'm looking for.

RE: 18:25 I'm playing a Tsareena ex deck and I always open with 2 Grass Energy and draw a 3rd on my first turn, even if I draw before for mulligans.
and regarding the bug 19:35 . It was happening so frequently to me on game-turning saves & plays that I believed it was the system throttling me from advancing on the ladder.

Your commentaries on the ranked system are completely true. It is 100% based on how much you play and not how well. Then, because of incoherent matchmaking and a lack of a valid individual rating system, you end up with a huge mess. The Pokemon Unite MOBA ranked system is exactly the same. This is just the sort of fraud "competitive" system Pokemon games are known for. Honestly, they should just give up and focus more on the fun aspects (or implement legitimate competitive systems as an alternative), but at least players can do that themselves by ignoring ranks. I barely play online, mostly in person, so I tend to play a little better than my digital rank indicates. However, just like you, I am only in great ball, but every match is against master 1000+ players 🤣. It really makes you wonder.

There isnt going to be many players stuck in great ball league. Its now too easy to rank up. Im playing control at the moment because i have never made arceus with this archetype and i beat someone yesterday in master league who missed greninja for game 10 turns in a row before i milled all his candies and devolved the bax. Nobody at this rank should miss greninja for game, ever.
Before people comment about this subject, it wasn't Andrew Hendricks who cheated, it was the other Andrew. Do some research before you comment that Andrew Hendricks cheated.
Andrew Kennett if memory serves is the one who cheated. I know it’s confusing because they’re both Andrew and Dialga players but jeeeeeeeee, people indeed do need to do their respective homework. So many comments already saying he cheated.

Theres no incentive for ptcgl to fix their game as it is free. They definitely can do it as they are a billion dollar company but to them it would be an unwise financial decision.

Reading the comments tells me 2 things: 1. People have such poor media literacy. It wasn’t the winner Andrew who cheated, it was another Andrew. The clip going around shows the cheater’s name and face. People need to learn to pay better attention, especially when things “outrage” them. 2. People love to involve themselves in things they don’t know about.
