  • I had bought a pack of five replacement fader modules to fix some faders that weren't moving, and I wasn't looking forward to having to resolder a bunch of points on 4 faders, but it turns out I didn't need to use them. The motors we're still working, but the belt slipped off the gear. I just had to push the gears back down.
I also read somewhere that you can dab a little clear nail polish on the top of the gear so it locks it to the silver post, but I didn't do that yet. if it continues to be a problem, I will probably do that.
You can find a few other videos on UA-cam on how to disassemble your soundboard to get to these faders

By the way, I had to crack it open again last month, so I went ahead and put a dot of JB weld on top of each gear to keep it from riding up again. I saw that Behringer started doing it to later models, so that's good enough for me. Just be careful not to make the dot too tall or else it will rub the inside of the top cover and make it hard to slide.

Picked up a used x32 producer with some inconsistent fader movement, pretty sure this is the issue. I'll give it a shot.

Do you know where I can buy just the straps (Little Belt) ????

Unfortunately I don't - I was only able to get the 5-pack of full fader/motor units. If you get desperate, you get that, and its a whole lot easier to just replace the belt than the whole fader unit
