    With a 25 cal Huma regulator (with integral gauge block), adjusted to 1900 PSI, HIll 25 gram hammer, WAR SSG, ported to 0.187 (3/16 inch) throughout, with hill valve with 6 pound spring, and the stock bolt narrowed and shaped at the transfer port. I get 45 shots, at an average of 41 FPE with a 28.4 grain pellet. with the same settings I get 40 shots with a lighter 25.39 grain pellet with an extreme spread of 1.89 percent. The same setup will easily hit 45 FPE with fewer shots.

    Are the .25 Huma and .22 Huma the same size inside? Can you show a picture of the inside?

      Both have the same air tube so the diameter of the two are the same but the .25 is longer for more volume. That extra volume is needed to push the heavier .25 pellet.

    I wish I could glean some kind of useful info from this video. I just installed the same HUMA Regulator on my Marauder. My reason for doing so is so that I can shoot .25 cal non lead 19 grain H and N Baracudas at Pigeons and Euro Collared Doves for falcon food. The rounds are all over the target at 15 meters. Any advice appreciated thanks.

      try some other ammo. Usually the ammo is what makes things go all over the place. Also 19grain is pretty light so you might be using too much power for the weight of ammo

    With the .25 Huma in the .22 cyclinder, what ft/ld energy was you getting? What was the setting on the .25 Huma in .22?

      I don't remember, sold all that a while ago. But if you want more regulated power then the .25 reg in the .22 will give more power at the same regulated pressure. But you'll also want a more free flowing valve, I had the HillAirGun Valve kit. .22 is pretty much limited to about 30fpe. Much more then that the speed is too fast and the pellet won't be stable. With diabolo pellets you'll want no more then 950fps, keep it under the transonic zone. I would start the setting at 130 or 140 bars and go from there.

    Do you gain more power on the marauder 22 when using this of course I want a hard hitting rifle and accuracy so what do you gain from this except more shots per fill. I have my stock rifle tuned wide open it hits hard and somewhat accurate at 35 yards why should I spend all this money

    • @DaBinChe

      You will get more shots per fill plus more consistent shot to shot. With my current setup it gets 940-960fps, about 28fpe, with CPHP 14.3g at 130bars on the reg, gets about 30shots before it drops off the regulator. So mid 900's is as fast as you want to go with diabolo pellets. And around 30fpe is about what is good for a .22 cal. So if you want more power then use the .25 regulator, you can see in the video that the plenum is longer. With 18g at 950fps you get about 36fpe. But to let more air out you'll need a larger transfer port and maybe a larger output valve. I think about 30fpe is good for a .22 if you want more then go with a .25

    can it be increased to 45 fpe?

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  7 років тому

      If you want 45fpe then no regulator, well maybe. Need larger transfer port and higher flowing valve, Hill Air Guns is what I use. Huma does make a regulator for a .30cal marauder with an extra large plenum, that will give you the highest regulated FPE. Might have to set it to 170bars.

    • @Ahsankhan-ij1qo
      @Ahsankhan-ij1qo 7 років тому

      DaBinChe agreed but if we put extra gap between valve and regulator will it work for extra power.

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  7 років тому

      That is why the huma .30cal regulator does, it has a larger plenum for more power

      I just bought my first pcp benjamin marauder 22 cal and of course I want it to be the most accurate and hardest hitting rifle than my Gamo swarm maxxim 22 break barrel with the gas piston and what mods do any of you recommend to get the most out of the marauder 22 and I see it's expensive and why not instead buy a rifle that's turn key I have $500 in the rifle now excluding the $230 hawke airmax 4-12x50 ao scope I added, and this SOB is heavy what is a nice accurate light weight recommended rifle in the $1000 range instead of adding the money and work for the marauder I want to know when I pull the trigger it's going to hit hard and a pellet in the same hole every time

    what was your shot count increase from stock ?

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  8 років тому

      +PHISHIT Not sure yet. Haven't had time to try it yet with the .22 reg in the .22 but the .25 reg in the .22 it doubled with 25fpe while stock only had 20fpe

    • @DaBinChe
      @DaBinChe  8 років тому +1

      +PHISHIT Alright, just done playing with it some and at 20fpe, CPHP, 800fps shot count is 8 magazines. Keep in mind that I also have a Hill air gun valve, large transfer port and light hammer. The Hill stuff makes it more efficient, Huma reg makes it consistant. Just ordered a Marmot barrel, the crosman one is a little over size which isn't too bad if using H&N larger pellets but the barrel starts tight then loosens, it should be the opposite.

      +PHISHIT I think all together it is just over $1k
