Mark, good to see you are doing well…I’m in the process of collecting gear together as I’m contemplating getting involved in this wild camping malarkey, I’m 65 now, haven’t been in a tent since I was 18, so it’s going to be interesting, just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit…keep up the good work mate…😃👍

Do you ever get to Scotland I'm organising a wild 🏕 camp in aid of soldiers off the streets and help for hero's. Its going to be held at loch Ken In dumfries. With a wide variety of campers and lots of fund raising and awareness activities if your interested.

Just bought a Jackal II myself & I’m enjoying the extra space as there’s not a lot of room to cook in the porch in my Bobcat.
Question for u I know u & many other wild campers leave the inner & outer tents attached when packing away but wanted to ask do u wait for the condescension on the inside of the fly sheet to air & dry fully before rolling up inner & outer together?
Or do u air tent when u get home ?
I’m interested to know as I would like to do this but worry about mould forming on the inner if it’s put away damp
I have the jackal 3 and there a good bombproof tent for price and glad somebody else my age is still a big kid n loving camping

I have numerous pairs of walking boots. It all depends on your foot shape, to recommend a suitable boot. I have some gloves you can have. New and unused.
Cheers Pete buddy. Your right and i'll probably go to a few places to try boots on pal. Need some gloves that are warm that i can still put the tent up whilst wearing them.

Hi Karl, I pitch it Outer and Inner together but you can separate them and put outer up first if you like.
