However, I have a long history of serious mental illness, and at that time, in the only mosque I could get to, it was so highly "ethnic" that converts were mostly ignored, so we were pretty much left isolated. With my mental problems, I could no longer maintain belief and practice (especially the latter), so in time I drifted away. However, I have a long history of serious mental illness, and at that time, in the only mosque I could get to, it was so highly "ethnic" that converts were mostly ignored, so we were pretty much left isolated. With my mental problems, I could no longer maintain belief and practice (especially the latter), so in time I drifted away. Years later I nominally took a non-Islamic religion, but now as an old man I practice no religion. Thank you for responding.
