This is the track I always listen to walking to work and daydream playing it in front of a crowd 😅
hehe… me too
Oh man, I love that IBANEZ so much!!! My favorite one was his pink signature S, featured on the Modes, No More Mystery video. Excellent song. I remember looking this up years ago. Outstanding!
Gonna tell you my story
I got this ibanez JS600 for dirt cheap and put the original 1992 FGM mics from an actual FGM (the guy swap them from another set right after he bought it because they were mint brand new... for 28 years old!!! he stashed them right away) and i got a very good FG tone out of it (same guitar scale, but a fixed bridge in my case)
FG has always been a master of melody. He needs to add a songwriting course to the school.

Маэстро....
Wow! Brings back memories of when I heard Brave New Guitar for the first time.
I feel so blessed to just be discovering jazz fusion nowadays since there is so much "new" material for me to constantly discover... while I also admit to a twinge of regret that I didn't discover the joy of non-standard time signatures and oddly satisfying chord progressions much earlier in my life. :-)
When talent was indeed necessary.
Show me a jazz fusion show where talent isn't necessary. Then or now.
@@user-oy7gz5bf2h there are several layers of talent my friend...it’s all about the diferences of knowing the “right notes” and meaning the “right notes”. You show me a jazz fusion show with such a musical deepness as this nowadays...and after all or any debate, let’s just be friends and appreciate one of the best musicians in the world that, thank God, still lives and plays as write and you maybe read this. Peace!
A new one from the Gambale Archives always gets me excited before I click. Never disappoints.
LOVE seein' Frank astonish with his sig. Ibby's! Worthy performance by all!
That's crazy.. wow.. you guys are out there man.. I don't understand music quite well enough to know exactly what's going on, but even my ears are like whoa.. always like that when I see your stuff Frank.. you are extremely gifted.
90's the best Years to FG
Just ouch ! What a great moment, all players are insane. Thank you Mr Frank !
I bought this CD at the tower records in Pasadena after looking for it for almost one year. I didn't know I could have bought one at your live shows, when you were gigging at La Ve Lee club on Cold Water Canyon. I headed back to the Inland Empire blasting Fe Fe Fi Funk all the way home at around 11 PM ... I couldn't believe that music can be played with such unbelievable phrasing. I called my best friend the next day to tell him about the Album, and he told me that Kei Akagi was teaching him music at the time at UC Irvine.... What great times! Thanks for the good memories.
The reason I play Ibanez guitars now. Love your music Frank!

interesting sound without the sax and the synth lead!
This style has no rules its hard to track..
The title is misspelled! Awesome groove nonetheless
@@FrankGambaleTV The title says “Fe Fe Fi Funk” instead of “Fe Fi Fo Funk”, at least that’s what it says on my device 🤷♂️
Ric FIERABRACCI on bass?
Bob Harrison!...😉✌👊

what is in that guy's mouth?
@@FrankGambaleTV interesting. I have never seen that before.
Freddy Ravel used that quite a bit back in the day. Saw him using it when he played with Earth, Wind & Fire. I think he was the musical director for the band for a while.
