Very interesting , I guess I be never really seen the same point of view as you guys . I’ve always loved cars but I think modding your car always gives you some sense of pride and joy when you build it that you don’t get from just buying it off the lot . Sure it might be a bad investment bu t You tend to appreciate it more In my opinion . lastly I also don’t think cars are a really good investment that’s the last thing on my mind when I buy a car , enjoy it !
Loved this discussion. I liked the focus on ROI, and maximizing enjoyment while minimizing cash loss. I feel the F430 is still one of the best compromise as of today in regards to Ferraris. What do you think?
I agree with you. I think that a 308 or 456 is the best value in ferrari right now but if you are looking for a mid engine than the 430 is the best deal.
Dude, that was fun and I wish it was longer. I really wanted to hear more about both of your thoughts on the California. I agree with you in that it's a stunning looking car and yeah, I think the prices are gonna continue to go lower. On the other hand, the 612 has been on my radar since I think it's price may have bottomed-out. What's your thoughts on the 612?
East Coast Classics I think the 612 is an awesome car and it has a 12 cyl engine, which is a plus for collectability but not reliability or maintaining it. I do think the price is about at its bottom. One just sold for 79K which was a deal.
Great thoughts!! Me, well, I’m waiting on values softening on the Mondials and 308GT4’s! They seems to be dropping some already. I’ve had 4 Gt4’s but don’t fancy paying a high figure for a car that previously cost lots less! I agree the California looks like a good buy but how low will it go? 456GT’s have pretty much collapsed
Nick Richardson hey Nick and thank you for the comment. I could not agree more with you. The 308 has always had a special place in my heart. I still think the 456 will go down a little more.
Gary Feenstra Gary Gary Gary. :) you are right about my model A. I could spend 100K to hotrod it and it would be worth 50k to 70K. So yes it will be worth more than a stock Model A but still with a net loss. This is a rum and coke topic. Lol.
Vali Lazarescu I could not agree more. Great value in the car world. I have not looked at the Canadian market but I will have to check it out. Thank you for the comment and let me know when you get yours.

That was fun to listen to the two of you discussing cars. You should plan that every few months or so...Pat
Pat-413 thank you. I wish he was closer so I could have him on more.
I enjoyed the video a lot! Keep them coming
Extreme Automotive Addiction thank you so much. It was a fun one to make.
Just in time to watch it appreciate 👍🏻
JK 911 I sure hope so. That would be awesome but I think we have some time.
You can grab back that value by putting a 6 speed in it ;)
European Auto Group I would love to do that. When the clutch goes out I will look into it.

Disagree about modding a car decreases its value. Yes it will with some cars but your Model A can only go up in value with mods.

Great news to pick one up as the next car. Still think F cars are priced too high in Canada, need a nice fibonacci retracement and I will buy.
