Really enjoyable to see it from a perspective you don't normally see. Hats off to Sharma Joseph, what a talent. From a tiny dirt poor fishing village that you can only get to by boat, just a handful of first class games and now this. He'll only get better.
The lovers of test cricket really understand the nuances of the game, the build up that is sometimes so intriguing. People criticize it because a test is over 5 days (used to be?) but they don't get it. For example chasing say 220 to win on pitch that is not a batting paradise and on day 4, the score is 110 for 4. If one is backing the batting team, the hope is don't lose an early wicket tomorrow. If backing the team defending, " lets get two wickets at worse before they reach 150." My question is if test cricket is being embraced by the modern generations.
Now, I hope the world see the big difference between B.C. Lara's Excalibur flair of batsmanship on display with Courtney Walsh famous victory over Australia. Australia in a very similar situation with Steve Smith and he failed! Lara's 153 not out greatest ever! One Luv ❤!!!
It was weird (and enjoyable) to see how Australia responded to this loss. No anger, no excuses, just respect and admiration for one of the greatest bowling spells in the history of the game. We did nothing wrong, we couldn't have played any different. Shamar Joseph was simply unbeatable in every sense.
But still they managed not to act like bitter little pommie losers. Proud Aussies mock bitter little pommie losers. All Aussies are in one accord - congratulations Windies. Best team won. Well deserved. Great job.
@@TheT-lv4mtFor bad losers, look at India. In the World Cup final, they were totally silent every time an Indian wicket fell or an Aussie hit a boundary. They also don’t seem to have taken their loss to England as graciously as the Aussies did in losing to the West Indies. Don’t tar all us Poms with bad losers at Lord’s because of Bairstow’s carelessness.
Not at all . There were lots of Australian fans who was really happy about the Windies win . Sure they want their team to win but they can also appreciate good cricket .
Not Shoaib Akhtar’s nor Brett Lee or Shan tates speed, S.Joseph proved that on target skilled bowling is the key. He made batsmen play every ball. Well done Joseph
PRICELESS. It Resonate with me. The Best Piece of Commentary in my 50 years of watching and listening Cricket. I watched the match and the Radio Commentary have me
Barely believable! A test bowling performance for the ages from Shamar Joseph. It's such a rarity to see a close-faught test match in Australia these days. Well done Windies!
Mr.Steve Waugh, with such a superlative, stupendous and prestigious performace by West Indies to defeat Australia in just concluded second test. I am exceptionally curious to hear what your comment is now sir. Owing to the fact that you were so dismissive of the the West Indies performing well in Australia. Well, well after all those disparaging remards you had made about the team. Congrats boys,we have the last laugh; kudos.
We won, but what Waugh said was right, we can't send this same team to England and expect Sharmar to bowl us to a one-off victory again. Only McKenzie had good starts then there was Hodge and DeSilva (for one innings only) who made any runs, The batting failed. We cannot win many more matches if we don't put runs on the board. We have been here before one great victory then defeat for the next 4 t0 5 years. McKenzie to open with Brathwaite and K. Hope to bat at three. We can start there.
Lehmann said " 2 balls hit two boundaries, 6 4, Taylor said the guy is bowling at 148 clicks then lehmann said dont care 6 4, he' s 90, he's 91" then all of a sudden 😂😂😂😂
It was one of the best test matches i have ever seen in my life and the courageous shmar Joseph who bowled accurate, furious and fast. Had pakistanis been a bit consistent then they would have won the series 3,0.
I never thought I would say this after the thrashings they inflicted on England in the 80s, but I really hope the Windies are back as a major cricket power. I want to see England, Aus, NZ, W.I., S.A., India, Pak going at each other in hard fought test matches.
Shamar Joseph was spitting fire. Bowling at 145-148km/h and with such accuracy. Shamar has two balls left in his over. Australia need 10 runs to win and Smith need 10 runs to score his first hundred as an opener. He has kept the 🦘 alive in this test by facing most of the deliveries of an over as the last man is in. But instead of taking a single in the last ball, he takes on on the 4th ball. Exposing hazzelwood again. Boom💥 game over. Next time the Australian coaches should send him the notes written in yellow sandpaper. I really love Lehman's coaching style. Bring back the leadership group. Sandpaper zindabad😅😅😅😅
Every one is talking about that historical win by the west indies over Australia but no on notice the coordinations of the commentators they are all talking at the same time and are fitting so nicely, why other commontary team anywhere else has to wait on their turn ? Who are those idiots who keep promoting cartoon cricket T20 which no cricket fan cares about? Take those easy moolah grabbers away from cricket, they are killing it. We want more Test matches.
They r men , west indies r humans as well just play your best game , u have nothing to lose, if play like 40 percent of the time we would win or draw the game , , but we gave the win to Australia all the time , from the first test match the bowlers just said to Australia we r here to win, simple, after making 300 Plus , Australia behave like Mike Tyson , when his teeth was hit out by Buster Douglas, same thing happened here , don't not under estimate your opponent
Hope Mark Waugh is eating his microphone in the Triple M commentary box as he needs to eat his words and shut his mouth. Great win by the West Indies who focussed on playing positive cricket and not politics. Fantastic debut series by Shamar Joseph with 7/68 on a broken toe to win the 2nd Test. He's going to be a superstar fast bowler who will hopefully bring the Windies back to the top of world cricket. Arrogant first Innings declaration by an arrogant Australian Captain.
Well played West Indies. Very well played. What a game of cricket. Shamar Joseph is a super star. Love and respect from Pakistan.

What’s really great is to see how excited these old pros still are when they are watching the game. Big broad grins, plenty of good chat
Love the commentry box. Would have been great if a little split screen showing the real action also.
Because they're radio they probably don't have the rights to show it, even as a replay
Lucky for Travis Head, Shamar Joseph had such a good performance so no one is talking about his king pair!
A single penny out of a million dollars is negligible. You know what I’m saying
Oh yes we are.
Fantasized about head getting a king pair so we would have a chance. Damn. He did.
The delivery to Head in the second innings was beautiful!
I'm fairly sure, the last 4 balls Head has faced at the Gabba, he's got out to all 4 of them
One of the most exciting tests match ever and this is so true as the old saying goes, never ever underestimate your opponent opponents
