So let me get this straight: Scotland wants to "regain its independence from London" just in order to be able to surrender it to Brussels? Mel Gibson would be proud of your struggle for "independence" and "freedom"...
Embaixada da Resistência London is happy for Scotland’s cultural identity to flourish. If you look at the major cities of the EU today vs 30 years ago, you will see that the EU does not benefit from people having unique cultures and they actively erode them.
The EU has put *no* pressure on nations like Russia and China who are the main cause for the worlds problems and divide to this today. That "out of sight out of mind" mentality the EU has let them get power back into their corrupt "governments". Now maybe the U.S and UK can fix their relationship and get the ball rolling to change the world for the better.
I am an European and I think that decisions will be easier to take now that the UK left the EU... so thank u for living us and good luck ! It seems that Bojo or Nigel have the right answer to face coronavirus and save the NHS by voting against a salary enhancement for medical personal.....
Snake_bgd SNP vowed that the 2014 referendum would be respected - so it may not be really soon. Maybe it will, but the counter argument is strong. Be aware though, that the EU does not support indigenous cultural identities. Visit London or any major EU city and you will see EU has overseen the eradication of their cultures in the last 20 years. Why? Because EU has no identity of its own and so it doesn’t appreciate the threat. Small example: in London right up until only 20 years ago there was a very ordered society where people waited respectfully in line for a bus, and you would take a seat in order of who arrived first. The “new Londoners” have never even heard of this, and when a bus comes everyone is like flies on sh!t, even pushing and barging when it’s busy. Scotland will become generic under the EU, because that is what the EU does throughout its empire.
@Akrinnatus Well said buddy. Well said. Scotland seem to want to latch onto any nation or institution rather than trying to find their own way in the world as an independent nation. Sad really.
EU is a Union of countries, and the UK is a Union of countries, so where the hell is the "democracy vote" going to? If the EU is soo bad why isn't the UK?! huh?

1 simple economic benefit, NOT paying for an unelected second tier of government that had a cost of £50 million per day just for membership. the best economic benefit from leaving, is the ability to eradicate the eu ``external tariff policy``. we no longer have to pay Brussels taxes for importing goods from outside the eu. another Brexit win is over the fish stocks in UK waters, instead of having 80% of our fish stocks stolen, we now have more control of our own natural assets. When the greedy corporates can no longer import cheap slave labour from the poor countries in the eu, they will have to increase the wages to appeal to get the priced out British workers back. a prime example of this is the haulage industry, wages and conditions pushed down for the benefit of greedy corporate interests, now the Drivers have the upper hand, their wages are slowly going to what should be the norm. I am an HGV driver. I can now pick and choose the conditions I want to work under, not have shitty management demanding I meet their greedy criteria.

Let's take back control.. Of our gas stations and food shortages 😁 this is just hilarious😂
BAHAHHAHA we suffer now 😔
yeah just ignore the covid plannedemic eh. its pathetic when you have to ignore the pandemic to renew a silly lost Brexit argument. It was only when the supply chains were disrupted with the house arrests, oops sorry covid lockdown, did we see anything untowards with supplies, FACT 1, there has been NO food shortages, FACT 2, the petrol station fiasco was brought about by announcements of price hikes, that led to a panic buy which led to the petrol stations running short. As soon as normal demand returned, so did the normal service. its not rocket surgery, but the indoctrinated lefty just cannot see it. What I find hilarious is your lack of basic understanding of two very different subjects. Brexit didnt cause the supply chain mishaps, covid did. so stop being silly with your already lost points.
We don't have gas stations.
What Britain doesn't realise is that their prosperity of before the EU came from looting their colonies. They don't have those anymore. The economic meltdown will probably be severe, and they'll probably crawl back to the EU within 5 years.

Embaixada da Resistência London is happy for Scotland’s cultural identity to flourish. If you look at the major cities of the EU today vs 30 years ago, you will see that the EU does not benefit from people having unique cultures and they actively erode them.
Good for the U.K. and the exit from the European Union now they can chart their own course.

The UK has signed its own death warrant.
The EU has put *no* pressure on nations like Russia and China who are the main cause for the worlds problems and divide to this today.

I say good that the English leave. They’re not true Europeans and they’re actually more like Americans. The Anglo-American world has created its own twisted idea of the west and its running toward its own cliff. Continental Europe can pull it together. There’s more substance, more thinking, more modesty and a potential to find true balance in the future.
Mr Powers its not the English that are leaving, its the UK that's leaving, the very fact that you don't understand the difference explains an awful lot of why Brexit happened.
Finally, all countries should leave the EU
Why haven't they already, if it's such a good idea? not even another referendum? 3.5 years since we voted and no one has followed us, not to mention the decades of membership.
??? The Brits want to leave the EU and somehow retain some kind of relationship with the EU? how does that work.
It works because Britain is a market where money can be made. At the end of the day Money drives relationships. The whole world will want to trade with Britain now, not just the EU.

@@notacountry today's main headline regarding cutting low skilled labour coming into the country has confirmed my concerns; the workforce is going to dwindle and in turn will knacker up the economy!
Being selective over having the "best and the brightest" come into the UK is all very well and good. But sooner or later fruit has to be picked, Amazon's warehouses still need cheap labour (pickers and Packers primarily) and hospitals still need cleaning. And like hell are employers going to provide the required incentives for us "natives" to do those crappy jobs for shite pay!
