    Just a quick update: I've just checked and the Bluetooth one now works fine with COD Mobile, the USB-C one you'd need to use the Gamesir app to map the controls as it doesn't currently work 'out the box'

      yes that's what I have noticed also in my Gamesir G6 Touchroller, some buttons come out as Xbox buttons, but no problem with the gamesir's control mapping. So maybe the BT version of X2 is also as good as the type c since the input lag is not noticeable coz my G6s response when I play CODM is really great, so I'm thinking now to purchase the BT version first. 😊

    I just hope that gamesir can make an updated USB-C version of the gamepad. If they add 3.5mm jack and a bit of ergonomic enhancement (e.g mini foot for pinky rest), it would be a perfect android gamepad for me.

    You didn't go over the fact that with the Bluetooth version you can plug a USB cord directly into the charge port of the controller and plug the other end into your phone and use it directly via USB no input lag. Even windows detected the controller as a USB controller. Id love to find a compact 90° stubby USB c cord and try connecting the phone this way with the phone still in the case.

    I've got both. I love the type C version, but I got a new phone case and the USB insert no longer fits into my phone with the case on. That and the button layout is awful for Game Pass streaming and the remap doesn't apply to Streamed games.

    Excellent review, spot on. Been doing some searching and can't find the info I'm looking for, you could tell me though. Is the Type C detected by CODM as it's run through the phone or not detected as you need to assign buttons working similarly as triggers do?
    I currently run Flydigi Stingers and my S20 Plus struggles. They work for about 10 seconds then the screen stops responding to their touches unless I lift my thumbs (effectively rendering me completely immobile while trying to shoot, not good).
    I've already ordered the Gamesir Type C but it just occurred to me the controller detection and I'd rather not limit my gaming to only controller users.

    I just ordered both the glap controller & gamesir x2 USB c from Amazon. They'll be here today. Do u notice any input lag with the Bluetooth verizon compared to the USB c version? I'm leaning towards the Bluetooth version because of how any phone can fit easily but idk..I just don't want any delay in my gaming. Btw I'll be playing on xcloud gamepass for all my gaming. Which one would u chose out of the 3..glap, Bluetooth or USB c? Thanks

    • @AndroidAddicts
      @AndroidAddicts  3 роки тому +2

      The Glap has always been my favourite controller but I do like both the new Gamesir ones since they updated the d-pad and included the analogue cap things. Even though the Glap is only Bluetooth 4.0 I never noticed any issues with lag. With Game Pass there'll always be an amount of input lag due to the nature of what you're doing so to keep that to a minimum, USB C would be better. The main issue however will be the latency between you and the Microsoft servers...

    "The convenience of not having to take your case off" lol I don't get why this case thing is such a big deal to people. It literally takes 2 seconds to take a case off. Anyway fantastic overview and comparison. Great job. I'm personally leaning towards the USB-C version for the charging capability. (Thanks for including the list of compatible phones).

    • @AndroidAddicts
      @AndroidAddicts  3 роки тому +1

      It's one of those 'first world problems' I guess. It does only take seconds to take off but if you're doing it constantly throughout the day then it could get annoying. USB charging is a great addition as long as your phone is supported that's for sure. Thanks for watching!

    • @Pawn2e4

    • @MageLeaderInc

      Also some more robust cases are screwed together and there's the added risk of dropping your phone between swapping and breaking your phone just because your controller wasn't compatible with the case.
