Hello, Thanks for watching!!! if you like this video smash the like button👍. Also, you will definitely like my video regarding gaming on Apple devices. you can watch that video at this link: 2 Weeks Gaming on iPhone 15 Pro, M2 iPad Pro, and Apple TV 4K: Everything I Learned ua-cam.com/video/i_NSBPMwwPk/v-deo.html 🐭
GameSir X2S is the first USB-C controller I've ever used with Android [I decided to buy it with the G8 Galileo, as both controllers combined work out alot cheaper than the initially-desired Razer Kishi Ultra] - and it runs like a dream with the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 I keep at home. 'Didn't have to tweak anything using the GameSir app either. Cheers for the vid, 'definitely got a subscriber outta' me 👌 .
If I recall, the home button will work when using PS or Xbox apps where there is an overlay menu. It also worked on some emulators (on android) in my experience.
He currently has the controller on Xinput judging by the blue light so the buttons issue is that he was using a compatibility mode, there was a fold out on the box that explained a few key combinations the gamesir offer so i think he missed out and tinted his review, what a shame good video otherwise
It works fine on my android, it functions as a home button in native mode (blue led) and dualsense mode (white led). They must have updated the firmware
@Corvoattano13 yes my thought as well. Useful in apps where you don't want it to go home on android, like moonlight/artemis when something isn't working right. Using home and start allows for an alt tab combo to bring it to front.
the backbone having the port on the right side is a complete nonstarter for me because my fold 5 would be hanging off the bottom, and so would devices like the microsoft surface duo series.
i cannot justify a hundred for a gaming controller that is for a phone. at that point i might as well just spend the extra money and play console games or pc games, or just get an emulation device.
No, he was right. The x2s is inspired by the limited edition 2DS that was lavender color. You can find plenty of references online stating this. The G8 is more the snes colorway.

the home menu it does turbo and can change the triggers to be just binary meaning it wont act like an analog trigger just on or off
