If you liked this bottle upcycle, you may like the decorative plate made to match it: ua-cam.com/video/YBfqmjS-aXk/v-deo.html
I heard you mention it was hard getting the tape on even in the start of the video. If you fill the bottle with water, it will give you a perfect line to put your tape one even. Beautiful project!
Thanks! Oh WOW! That is a great idea!!!! I have never heard that before. Thanks so very much for sharing that with me!!! Have a great night!
S Ann Walton. That is a very good idea! I also have trouble with the tape thanks for the information
It might give you a perfectly straight line but not necessarily a perfectly straight AND level line since what you have the bottle sitting on may not be at all level even if it once was when first built thanks to settling.
VERY RICK LOOKING, THANK YOU SO MUCH.....TALENTED LADY:

Nice color combo. One thing that works to smooth out the wrinkles is a bunch of awarded up saran or others similar plastic wrapping paper. Just wad it up in sorta loose balls and pat gently. I also really love using a damp sponge and doing the same.
Thanks! I’ll try it. Have a great day! 💗

Very lovely!
I'm new at upcycling,I've done a Carlo Rossi wine jug, stones on a vase, coasters, and a planter. It's so relaxing...
I follow your fellow youtuber Gift basket appeal,I remove the 2nd ply of paper from the napkin like she suggests.

Thanks sweetie! Tracey is the best! Glad to have you...Enjoy your day!
It's beautiful, may I ask what it's for once complete? I've saved several bottles to do something with, just could never figure out what they'd be good for as the hole isn't really big enough to hold a candle
You can glue a small votive to the top of it and then add a candle to it or you can use it as a decorative piece in your home or give it as a gift. Thanks for watching!
SameChickDifferentDay oh that's a good idea, about the votive candle, TY :)
Maree Bow or u can put flowers in them to decorate your home!!! this is very pretty. I just wish she would have painted the bottle first and pulled the white part off the napkin... It would not have had all that black bleeding on the white flowers if she would have painted the bottle with white acrylic paint first. But still very pretty.,

Aw...Thank you Karen! I am so happy you liked it! Enjoy your day!
like how u said its not meant to stress u out. its a napkin and a bottle. more of where those came from..lol ty
Thanks sweetie! Glad you like it. Lol!
Hi SCDD, if I don't have mod podge what other kind of glue would be good to use w/out lumping up?!!
I am not exactly sure... I would think you could use tacky glue. If I find out anything I'll let you know.
I love all your pieces, could you make a swag lamp I really love to make 2 of them for my bedroom. thank you keep up the good work that you do.
Hey sweetie! I am not sure if I know what type of lamp you are referring to. I will try to look it up online. Have a great day!
The type of lamps is the chain hanging lamp. I wanted to change my bedroom lamps for the swag chain lamps. Thank you for your help & I love you work, because of you my house are beautiful.

will you please do a 4th of July candle bottle ty
I was just thinking about something like that today! I think I can fit that into my to do list! Thanks for the idea!
So pretty! Looks expensive.
I'm going to try this real soon.
I've got tons of bottles! 🍷😊
New suby! Love your channel.
Thanks so very much! I am glad you like it!!!!
Looks lovely my dear... I need to make one also, I don't drink but I love how you make the bottle look so lovely :)
Thanks sweetie! These are not my personal bottles. I have a friend that works for a restaurant and they bring me the empty bottles from the end of the night. Lol!
Hi...I'm New To Your Site...And I'm Just Loving Your Ideas...Esp. That Paint Color. Where Did You Buy The Spray Paint? Thank You Kindly In Advance!!! 😊 💚
Thanks so very much! I bought the spray paint at The Home Depot.
Beautiful why didn't you separate your napkin. .
Thanks! I didn't want it to be too transparent.
How do you thin modge podge? Mine is lumpy....
I am not sure, I have never heard of it having lumps in it. Maybe you can add a little water to it.
Love this idea!! Is the napkin paper or cloth?
Thanks sweetie! It is paper. I purchased them at the Dollar Tree.
This is so cute. are those napkins paper?
Thanks Karen...Yes, those are paper napkins I found at the Dollar Tree.
👍
Thank you!
Very beautiful, but I do think you should only use one layer even if you need to paint the underneath part of the bottle. In this case I would use black. Cut paper prior to glue. I would have cut the extra off. Do not use fingers for smoothing at all...make a plastic make up sponge: gather a piece of bubble wrap, plastic wrap, then dab along try to dab and drag very lightly. Give it a try you might like it.
I love you whole decorating idea. Good look with your new found business. NAMASTE...KAREN
Thanks for the tips! Have a fabulous day!
is the napkin fabric or thick paper??
Hey Gail! It's just a regular napkin from the Dollar Tree.
Where do you get your napkins?💝
Hey! Thanks for watching! I purchased these napkins at the Dollar Tree.
can this bottle get wet ?
+Brooklyn Wonder I wouldn't get it wet. It's just for decoration. You can wipe it off with a damp cloth to clean it but I wouldn't submerge it in water. Thanks for watching!
Shouldnt you have removed the underneath layers of napkin? There would have been less wrinkles.
It's personal preference, I don't mind the wrinkles. Thanks for watching. Have a great day!
Think this bottle would of looked so much better if you had painted it before applying your napkin with layers removed first. Also tearing off excess napkin instead of overlapping in straight line.Otherwise is a lovely bottle TFS x
Thanks Helen!
if you use some saran wrap , take a piece of it , instead of fingers so it won't rip when wet and it smooths out the wrinkles better, just a thought :)
Will do...thanks so much for the tip! Have a great day!
