Well they say if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life. Perhaps there are those who love what they do so much that death won't stop them.
Talk about takin' the graveyard shift. And with a skeleton crew of one grindin' his fingers to the bone! They say seniors live longer if they're workin', but this guy Santiago wouldn't give up the ghost! That's the spirit! I wish I was that dead set on my life goals. Is it morbid to say the handler felt the gravity of the situation when Santiago scared him to death? I may be beating a dead horse, but that border agent got blood from a stone that night. I mean he pulled off somethin' impossible and the perfect crime, at the same time- no body of evidence, no jurisdiction, no harm no fall!
So what your telling me is that a ghost of a border patrol agent scours the U.S-Mexican border hunting for the man who killed him and stops crimes along the way. Boy that would be an amazing TV show

Couldn’t resist, LOVE this channel.
Excellent! I have no doubt these stories are true, having experienced my uncle visting me in prison in Maryland, while he died in Vienna, Austria, and other phenomena. You and Mikey doing startlingly good work giving life to the stories of the deceased. Your note of concern at the end of this offering was a nice touch. May they RIP indeed.
The migrant story reminds me of the Hoosac Tunnel hauntings, strangely enough. Good job, fellas!
Awful day at work and this video drops. Going to make my evening a lot better.
I've had a bad last few days too man. This makes it a bit better
I'm off work for the rest of the year, with full pay......Dr appointments this week, then relaxing.
I love my job sometimes, lol.
@@Dragon220614 I wouldn't worry about it.
how does an 11hour old video have posts from 5 days ago???
I work nights, and I'm always happier when a new Bedtime Stories video is waiting for me.
The desert has its own way of solving things. Sometimes with our help, sometimes without. You could do years worth of episodes on the west deserts, and never scratch the real surface. There is a reason desert people warn "respect the desert."
its oddly wholesome that these ghosts are like helping people
I would be so F'n stoked if you did a collaboration with SCP Illustrated !!!
I'm here within half an hour of this going up. I'm happily surprised at that.
I just wanted to mention how all but a tiny percentage of these comments seem to be respectful and create friendly conversation. It makes me happy. Thank you to all of you!
Have a great day, Alyson
I love this channel, and I never get tired of the feeling of pride when I see my name in the list of financial contributors! ❤️
My Sunday evening is complete miss marple then bedtime stories what could be better
You guys are simply the best story tellers around. Bravo!
Interesting stories! There's a whole lot of nastiness that happens on that border, so no surprise people have encountered some strange things, whatever the cause is behind them. I wonder how much fatigue and psychological stress play into these agents observations.
I live less than 15 minutes from the Otay Mesa border and have friends who patrol these borders. Never heard of these stories until
now. Great episode!
I love your channel!!! please don't ever stop!!
Wow! I see I'm not the only one who had a horrible day lol. But like everyone else, I'm so glad that bedtime stories comes through in the clutch!🔥
I think my clutch might be burnt out 🙄
lives in borderlands. sees title. "oh no"
If it makes you feel any better I live in WV which they've done a good half-dozen episodes on. Every time I hear Rich say the words "rural West Virginia" I think to myself "Well, shit."
Same
Yeah, I live in south-west Virginia...he gets us all eventually.

A lot of people like the video before watching it because they know it's gonna be good - it *is* Bedtime Stories ya know! I always like it beforehand for that very reason. Do you, out of curiosity?
@@pammeckley3888 yes, I always leave a like. But also like pointing out stuff in the comments.

I was only thinking yesterday that we were overdue an upload from this channel. And hey presto, it's here. Happy days 😁😁
Thank you for this story!
I live in San Diego and am familiar with the Otay Mesa area.
These stories are new to me.
Man, as much as he made a good book about all this, Mr. Elmore really had to be *the one person* encountering these strange occurrences; it's a bit of a miracle he didn't snap because of these.
I always enjoy seeing a new Bedtime Story! Thank you.
Spent the last two weeks binging through all of your Episodes; looking forward to more spooktacular Bedtime Stories... :)
Ahhhh hell yeah!! Happy Valentine's Day to us! I'm always so jazzed when there is a new one!! Hope your team has a lovely holiday as well.
(video stinger replaced by heavy breathing)
Uh oh, are they going to flash something spooky on the screen?
"It this thing recording?"
Nope, it's a comedy bit.
It was an outtake. I always warm up with silliness like that, but in this instance, I stepped on a wire, which the pulled the tablet I was reading from off the stand 😂
I have lived in America for 46 years and I have never heard of this. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Another great video. You guys do not disappoint.
Yeeeeehaw!!!!! It ain’t even my bedtime and I’m lovin me some more stories!!!
Thank I needed this ❤️ I've been re-watching all your vids while I'm stuck in hospital.
I thought it might be about Sasquatches. Good bless Santiago and all the other victims of the border
Once again, a masterful blend of narrative writing, narration, and graphics. I can't wait for every new episode. Thanks to everyone involved in the production of these videos.
The art is very well drawn, and the stories really make a person think.
Wow... I love hearing stories about a place so close. Both physically and with part of my family serving in the BP.
Thank you for covering these events!
I'm early and looking forward to a sleepless night
Haven’t heard from you in awhile. What a Sunday treat!
Major kudos to Santiago for continuing his job and helping people, even in death. Most people would just stay dead, but he chose to keep going for a while longer.
FINALLY!!!
WHOOOO HOOO!!!! You guys are AWESOME. I’ve done a lot of rewatching lately wishing for your latest upload to drop. Ty ty 👏🏼
the actual strangeness in the borderlands is when you find a maliwan weapon that shoots regular bullets
Excellent presentation. Thank you. Love the audio outtake at the end!
I had heard about this. I saw a tv show where rocky gave an interview regarding the whole incident. It sounds like a local legend but it’s not.
I live California and close to the San Diego border where this happens .. and yes it’s very true story and I heard this all my life..great job
I no longer watch these stories before bed, make sure its a well lit day and nothing can sneak up behind me
Before I even watch a minute of this channel, I always give my thumbs up first because I know whatever is put out by this channel is going to be top notch content!
16:07 I guess the ghost mother tried to keep things cool, but LOST FACE.
*puts on aviators*
Yeaaaaaaahhhhh
Its always a good Sunday when there's a new bedtime story. Keep up the good work lads
