- I really have to remind myself that this is not a disbandment song, simply the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new one. They're parting ways here and now, but it somehow feels like this was done on their own terms? At least, I hope so! And I think, thinking that everything was done correctly and right by them, it feels kind of easier to accept this situation. And I think this song was the perfect farewell for now, gift to themselves and the fans too. I got reminded of 'One spark' by Twice when reacting to this because of the nostalgic and sweet feelings, the "let's look back on how far we've come together", "thank you for being here with me", "let's celebrate our journey together" etc. This was beautifully bittersweet! And to make it even more bittersweet, I think this is their best song to date! This is the shining star that Kep1er is, the ethereal, otherworldly, cosmic, angelic, sophisticated Kep1er! Really, really nice comeback and very selfishly, I hope for Kep1er to keep doing this kind of music in the future too. And I can't wait to see where their journey will lead them! Not every ending is bad and I hope they'll all be happy where they'll be soon.

The thing with a group like Kep1er is that when your members are soooo talented, finding their style and lane where they excel is hard because they're so diverse in a lot of different styles. But this dreamy nostalgic synthpop intergalactic Imogen Heap vibe suits a mature Kep1er so well that I hope this is the lane they take their music in. A thousand percent their best song and it gives me all the feels.

If i have to compare with iz*one. They have made a lot of hit songs that won a lot of trophies. Even tho it's so sad to saw their disbandment but their company made wonderful job and did best for iz*one until the very end.

But on the other hand, you are right this is a business and this was a bad business move. Limelight has sadly not been able to produce as much sales and streams as hoped. By adding both Mashiro and Yeseo it will boost sales but only by a little. Compared to Kep1er’s sales which would be much higher and the company could argue for more shares of sales revenue. 143 are a bit too optimistic when they should have been realistic like the other 7 companies

yeah that debut was kinda great. its not easy to look tough when youre 4'10" and 80 pounds so maybe the lineup shot didnt help but the song was terrific

Karu said in an interview that the snapshot sound was a tribute to their start in GP999 because their positions in that snapshot pose part of the MV was the same position they had in that GP999 picture. So yeah, I think you actually captured the essence of this MV and the song in your analysis.
Shooting Star really is their best song to date and even though I expected it to be a farewell song, they did it in a tasteful way, in that it wasn't so much as a goodbye but more of a thank you song, like 'look at how we've grown because of you' kind of thing. It's a song (and an album) that showcases all of their growth, as a group and individually.
