- This video shows parts of my set up process to participate at the Pittsfield Vermont outdoor Maker Place, 2021. It was my first time exhibiting my artwork in an outdoor setting and I had to build special screens to hang my paintings.

Here's a list of the materials I used to build my screens:
* 1 inch x3 inches x 6 feet wood planks
* L brackets
* T brackets
* 3/4 inch wood screws
* square (to ensure proper square angles at each corner of the frame)
* Drill with necessary driver heads
* wire mesh (hardware cloth) 3 feet x 4 feet
* staple gun
* 1/2 inch staples
* hinges
*S hooks to hang artwork
* pencil
The music for this video was provided by the You Tube Audio library.
I recorded my video using my iPhone 12 and edited my video using iMovie.
Please don’t hesitate to ask questions or post comments. I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks so much! Great idea. My hubby and I will make some for my first stall to show off and hopefully sell my artwork.
I'm so glad this was helpful to you! The screens were so easy to build and they work quite effectively! I don't remember if I mentioned this in my video or not, but bungee cords were very useful to help them all stand together. 😉 I wish you a ton of success for your art show 🤗❤️ Thank you for making the time to watch and reach out!

This was in Vermont ☺️ Thank you for your kind words!
Hey! How did you hang the pieces on the mesh?
I used S hooks and they worked really well 😊
Pretty lady😊
Thank you! I’m most happy that my husband thinks so as well ☺️
How did you hang your artwork on the chicken wire
Hi Lise ☺️ I used “s” hooks. Of course, all of my painting also had a hanging wire attached on the back. I found that using 2 “s” hooks per painting worked best. I hope this helps!
@@gabrielleannacormierart thank you. I hate to put hanging wires on, only because the buyer may want to hang in a different direction but I suppose they can just change it. Thank you for your response
@@lisemayrand8977 I struggled with this too at first and then I thought, it's my prerogative as the creator of the painting to pick what I consider its best angle. ☺ And, like you said, they can always change it if they would prefer a different angle. Abstract art is really cool that way. Have fun at your art fairs 🤗
