one of the things i really like about my bronco is how it's so easy to adjust the thermometer so it's straight up for the temp i want . makes it easy to glance at from the door when the weather is bad/hot/cold . just leave the nut behind it finger tight to adjust it . i know it's not a perfect thermometer , but it's good enough ........ i also have a IBT-6XS if i need or want to be exact . take care Moe :)

You seem to like that Bronco. Maybe I should get one myself.

I love my Bronco. It's my favorite smoker. You can grill with it. Hang your meats. It's great!

Do you trust your OKJ thermometer? Mine is usually off by 30 to 60 degrees. Have checked it against another method?
    Your stuff always looks fantastic!

Thank you for watching! I trust my thermometer. Yes, it isn't that accurate. You know it is off a bit when you're using the top cooking grate. About 99% of the time I use the Bronco thermometer is when I hang meats. I have not had an issue using the Bronco thermometer. I know other people will buy another thermometer, and maybe that might be something you can do. Personally, it hasn't let me down, so I will keep using it. A lot of people but Tel Tru thermometers. They are trusted temp gages, and it helps that you can calibrate the temp gage to the correct temperature of the Bronco/cooking grate.

Is it the temperature probe for the meat or for the Bronco?
