Aidan put this out there in the most human, beautiful way possible.

This is a measured, temperate, generous, human, kind expression of Aidan Gillen's view. I love it.

Thank you, Aidan. It's such a huge thing to speak out for such an important matter. I hope the vote goes through and the many families this will affect can live no longer in fear. Equality for all!

I honestly don't understand how anyone could vote No and in good conscience call themselves a enlightened educated person. Great to see Aidan supporting the cause :)

I think many big gay guys will be happy. It's been a part of their master plan for some time to get people to vote for the marriage referendum and crash homophobic sentiments with no survivors. Personally I would vote for you if you ever ran in a political position. You have a lot of loyalty for your cause, Aidan. I can see this happening.

Aidan Gillen looks incredibly small in this video, reminds me of when he played the roll of agent Bill Wilson in The Dark Knight Rises by director Christoper Nolan.
If I remember correctly Bane, portrayed by Tom Hardy exchanged lines with Aidan Gillen regarding the size of their own characters.

I'm sorry I doubted the motherland. Thanks for standing up for us. You are as warm and supportive as your alter ego is slick and slippery.

Any notice how if the video is on a no vote then there are no comments but yes voters allow them? Coincidence? I think not!

Kieran Moynihan So based on that you will not vote Yes?! You are what everyone fears about the younger generation. No real concept of the world they live in and no empathy for others that they live in the world with.

    Agreed !
The thought of a "No" vote where the old homophobes get to vote on my rights to equality fills me with literal panic.
The very idea that 'equal rights' requires a vote at all sickens me.
    Vote "Yes".

Yes it is indeed surprising this issue can be voted on, but i guess it shows your country trusts its people to vote Yes.

    • @JackFknTwist1
      @JackFknTwist1 9 років тому

Not so much trut; It's just that the current definitions in the old Constitution need to be changed , they are too narrowly interpreted by the Courts.
      Equal marriage needs constitutional protection.

The best point on this is that childrens charities support a yes vote. So a yes vote is good for children. So don't use that argument anymore, no voters.

I think everyone should have free will, and be able to make their own decisions in life as long as it doesn't hurt other people. I don't agree with homosexuality. That doesn't mean that I treat gay people with disrespect, call them names, or treat them any different than I would anyone else, but I shouldn't be expected to conform my opinions because people don't respect my stand. I respect homosexuals, so I wouldn't vote no, I simply wouldn't vote at all. Like I said, everyone has a free will and the right to use it.

Perhaps he's wondering why somebody would hold a referendum before granting someone their human rights.
