What I expected: how you got a crown despite LBP1+2 essentially being gone (servers down, can't buy most of the DLC anymore since disney pulled all the licensed ones, etc) What I got: a wholesome explanation on what it really takes to get a crown, that doesn't even have to be about creating levels 👍
This is a heartwarming accomplishment for sure. And honestly the fact that you can get crowns from methods outside of the game itself is very befitting of the nature that LittleBigPlanet has set for itself, I can’t not love this series and everything it stands for.
I wasnt expecting a lesson about not pushing myself too hard, but I'm happy I did, its nice to know that the lbp community is still thriving, even after I essentially tapped out of it. I should hop back into it huh

I was so obsessed with rare dlc back in the day as a and it was just straight up my life goal to get a crown, along with like the lbp 1 week 1 shirt, but that will never happen lol. Years later LBP tweeted that they were hosting a competition for nature and wildlife stuff for LBP3, and I'm pretty sure this was their last official contest where the winning prize was the crown. I may be mistaken, but I haven't seen one announced on twitter since then. I knew this was my best and last shot at possibly winning a crown. (best because I loved creating nature scenes) So I went off, created like 10 scenes, submitted the 3 that I was confident with. (One with pandas, another with wolves, one with a bear) My main focus was the foliage and nature though. I tweeted the 3 at LBP, patiently waited however long it took for them to announce the winners and then I was picked as one of the 5 winners. Definitely a huge day for me, even though I wasn't playing LBP much at the time as LBP3's state was... well, y'know. But I was still really happy and kid me would've been so damn happy. Still have the tweet saved lol. My PS3 was bricked and I remember asking Steven if he could sauce me the Royalty pin as you can't get it from LBP3, and he did. Such a cool dude. Congrats bro!
Just watched every one of your shorts they were so interesting I always wanted little big planet one but my PS3 broke and finally got back I to gaming recently and played sackboy a big adventure and got the platinum. Happy for you bud. I also got my crown for doing literally everything in that game but I didn't know how iconic it was until today.

You download it through a modded console takes 2 seconds cause its 100 kb but its only good quality was its rarity if you dont know of any good costumes to make with it itll probably just gather dust in your popit

Was like 13 or 14 when I started that. The crowns were all the rage and even getting one was definitely a special feeling like you mentioned. I’m all grown up and seeing someone still get a crown definitely made me smile! Subbed!

As someone who fell out of the LBP scene pretty hard after the original game but still has a lot of love for the series, just knowing that people can still get crowns makes me really happy. I have a question.. does LBP 3 have better performance on the ps4 pro or ps5 compared to the ps4 slim? i noticed some levels are laggy while playing, especially some of the OG LBP 1 community levels. If there is a difference, i may upgrade to a ps4 pro
performance is better and more consistent, locked 30. But if online the game is still clearly unstable and has some crazy lag, different from any fps drops. Loading is faster and noticeably so, yet is still kind of unacceptable for a backwards compat game on ps5
I , obtained the rare Slurpee shirt at the age of 10 back in 2012. Since the servers are hacked and down I , had to restore my progress from lbp2 in my PS4 lbp3 to get my prized possession back I bought lbp3 in 2016 and I never played it until 1.27 at Monday 3:47 PM I restored my lbp2 progress including my rare Slurpee shirt.
