That packaging's definitely included in the price which is like $130,000 I just Googled it out of curiosity, because i already knew Johnnie Walker Blue Label which doesn't come packaged up near like that is like $200 for 750ml.
I hope he purchased that for his himself because anyone capable of spending $130,000 on Scotch Whisky would not want it unboxed like that prior to their purchase. No deal.
No kidding! Sheesh, if I paid that much for a single malt Scotch with that sort of presentation, I wouldn’t want to have had the protective plastic taken off or even anyone else to have handled it.
I was a bourbon whisky man when I still drank alcohol, but once I was given a bottle of Glenmorangie 25-year-old single malt scotch that at the time was about $375 USD, and it absolutely knocked my socks off. It was by far the best tasting, smoothest alcoholic drink I ever put to my lips. I can only imagine how nice this single malt scotch is.
To be honest, once you start getting past the point of that Glenmorangie in terms of price, it really ceases to do much in terms of increasing quality.
@@alexlyster3459 ....wrong, this statement only proves you don't have the palate for fine bourbon whiskey, stick to Jack Daniel's and don't post if you don't know what your talking about
@@eldorado1244 Yeah good one you plonker. Once you're past a few hundred pounds or dollars pricing is about rarity rather than quality. That's not to say it isn't quality, but anyone with even 2 brain cells to knock together knows that quality isn't just a linear increase with price after a certain point. That price point IS higher than Jack Daniels which I can't stand, but dropping thousands on a bottle isn't necessary if quality/flavour is your owner concern. Good Whisky is good whisky, but if price and prestige is all you care about, then stick to wasting your money.

In general, the price of rare SM Scotch is a function of its scarcity, not necessarily its quality. While I am sure this is very excellent scotch, it is so expensive because there is not much of it left.
