  • Presentation- same ol o’douds labeling as always. Classic amber glass jar, metal screw on lid, and matte black paper (not plastic) labeling. It's worth noting I have the one ounce jar, not the full four ouncer, though the same description applies to their four ounce options.
Scent- advertised as having a lavender peppermint scent, and i’d say it smells exactly as described. It’s very pleasant, and not strong. You can't go wrong with this one.
Consistency- nice and creamy with a little denseness. It's like yogurt, and one emulsified you'll feel some tack in the hands.
Application- Easy application and very straightforward. No tugging or pulling at all, a trait that at this point should be a standard for any hair product in my opinion.
Strength- advertised as a medium hold product, and I can confirm it is. However, I like using a very small amount to get the most natural look possible as this product is very good at doing that also.
Control- users should have no problem with the control. For me, control might become a little hard at times, but that's just because I prefer using such a small amount.
Shine- natural sheen, but not matte!
Slickness- not a slick product, this aint an oil base
Endurance- being someone with curlier hair, this product is perfect for me. It allows the hair to be a little less frizzy and maintain some structure. That being said, I can see some hair types that might fall apart throughout the day using this product, i.e. long, straight hair…
    Hardness- won't harden
Rinsability- washes out with just water, no shampoo
Buildup quality- little to no buildup, it goes in and goes out nicely. I usually shampoo every second or third day using this as that's just my general routine.
