Presentation- this hair wax comes in a pink plastic container with a screw on lid. It remains in line with the look of the rest of Gatsby’s “Moving Rubber” line.
Scent- has a nice artificial, chemical smell.
Consistency- lotion like consistency with a moisture to it.
Application- goes in sticky, beware of any tug and pull from its grippiness. Not the most comfortable application process.
Strength- Provides a decent medium to strong hold, with alot of stickiness.
Control- if too much is applied, then the control will definitely be hindered. Apply this product equally among all your hair in increments to avoid losing control to a sticky mess.
Shine- natural shine.
Slickness- This can be a decently slick product, but its main purpose is to create a spiky look.
Endurance- it will last throughout the day, with some loss in spikiness depending on what you're doing.
Hardness- this product doesn’t harden the same way a gel does. Rather, it may feel a little stiff once dried in the hair in its own weird, rubbery way.
Restyleability- not so good. You will be met by substantial grip if you try running your fingers through your hair.
Rinsability- requires shampoo.
Buildup quality- probably one of the more uncomfortable buildups you'll feel from any hair product.
Overall verdict, just stick to homebrew pomades.
