Great LIVE sound and performance for this small band! Regarding the female singer, her voice is a mix of jazz, pop and even country influences. She can sing anything she wants.

Man you people that say negative things about this band, well all I can say about your negative comments is you are jealous or envious of a great singer, band and arrangement of this tune. They are all fantastic musicians and extremely talented. Check out the number of views, 117,543. Can any of you downers top that?
Aldo Midili it isn't that we are jealous of the arrangement or the singer. This cover just doesn't have the same funk vibe or charisma that the original has. If they have that then it would sound a lot more full and complete.
Ive been playing music over 35 years, Ive been fired from more bands than most people will ever be in but I think you all are fantastic. Singer has a style that is broad and suits her, great drums and bass and guitar was solid I couldn't understand how anyone found fault with it
I like this version of a great song! A lot of sound with just 4 band members. Nikki has her own vocal style that transcends the song - very cool and slick sounding.
People are waaay too critical. Nitpicking this i silly. I'm sure this is a demo so you guys can pick up some corporate jobs that pay better than your regular club gig. You guys are a really good band, the girl can sing and she's beautiful. So this video is a great calling card. Good luck!
I think you guys have a very cool sound going on. For me, the singer works just fine, but I'm thinking her volume should have been turned up just a little. If people are thinking her voice doesn't sound rough enough, then try a TC Helicon Voiceplay Live to put some overdrive on it.

Actually the sound engineer could make her voice fit the song.
