Those Gen 7 942’s look like a hell of a a place to call home for a day, it blows my mind my mind to see how far tractors and equipment cab’s have come in the last 20 to 30 years, my grand father bought a new Komatsu PC150LC-5 in 1997 and in lieu of air conditioning it had a 6” fan to blow stale, hot air in your face, lol, which was better then the 1986 Cat 950B wheel loader, which had a black vinyl and allegedly spring suspended, seat that you had to remember to cover with a spare shirt during lunch break in the summer or you’ burn yourself after the sun got it hot, 😂. I for one would love to see more Unimog, those things are very cool
Video is as professional as the Whole farm business, incredible these days the level of tech in those fendt tractors, I would be happy to spend 16 hrs in either of them compared to the old school of the 80s which I still have one. With 1 lever for hydraulic control and 3 small levers / controls for which type ie lift or draft. 2 spool levers for double acting spools and a lever for 2 speed pto. Fendt 942 looked like the Space Station in the cab with all the tech. Real precision farming. Keep them coming.
I have worked in It for the last 20yrs and we don't have as many buttons as those tractors. Just confirms the need for highly trained people to run them. When i ran tractors there were no buttons like that - just levers to pull or push. Nor were they so comfortable - or expensive. Great video very informative
The kit and operation options in a tractor cab these days mind boggling. What happened to all the old levers ? My worry about all the technology used is back up from dealers the mechanic’s certainly got to be on top of the game. Do you usually change out tractors every three years when warranty run out ?
I would love to be farmer, driving tractors has been a long life dream of mine since being a kid. At the age of 35 I wouldn’t have a clue where to start especially with all tech, screens far more complex for me lol. Are you based on the roundabout off the 428?

You can't tell us that the CAT sounds good without giving us a little tester. You tease.😂

01/7 24, Enlightening videos for all. Lots of costly equipment necessary to optimise best results. Is Rural Crime a problem for you ?
I am sure someone has asked this or you have said in another video but i am knew to your videos… how many acres do you farm in total?

The tractors are on a 5 year replacement program depending on hours and the crawlers are on a 10 year replacement schedule

942 not big for a spray tractor ?
They are our smallest tractors that have to do a range of jobs
@@PX_Farms that’s a big small tractor ! I guess it makes sense to have a tractor that can do it all.
