I have mine for about 4 weeks now and have 1300km on the clock. From around 700km on, the left rear shock leaks oil. I know of others with the same problem, so seems to be a common issue. While I am waiting for the spare parts to arrive at my dealership, I still am able to ride it though. So it is a minor issue so far. Besides that, I like this bike. I have the Centenario color scheme, which I like very much.
Yeah its a great bike, I'm very satisfied with it so far. It has never left me stranded so far and has tons of character love it. These are great bikes.
The peeling may be the bike is running hot. The emission adjustments on these bikes really make them run hotter than expected. You may need to adjust the valves .005/.007 spec. Aftermarket exhaust may help the bike breath better.
I got 2020 V7 Stone back in April this year and so far have put 2000 miles on it. Love the bike, looks, performance, and just the feel. Have had no issue and hope to keep it that way :) good review on your part. My exhaust is fine. i'll keep an eye on it.
yes I test rode a 2020 and was about to purchase one then they announced the new 850 so I held out for it. The 750 is just as good though, the v7 is just imo one of the best all round good bikes out right now.
Regarding racks for the bike, racks from previous models will not fit the v7 850. The shocks have been repositioned, and that is what is causing the no interchangeable issue. However, I bought a set of SW motech SLC racks for the v7 iii, which I cut and rewelded to fit. Bit of a job, but came out really nice.
Yeah i don't got welding experience. I need to get some racks. Idk when that'll be, things are little pricey for this bike aftermarket anyways. I'm building a house trying too, which taking away from my bike funds lol. But hey I'll have a bigger garage in the end so thats a good one.
My son got a 2021 V7 back in May. It is a beautiful bike. He loves riding it. but at just 200 miles he called saying he has oil spraying onto the back tire in the drive side. So the dealer picked it up and it is there now awaiting parts. Not exactly sure what they found but I hope it was just a fluke that won't happen again. Oil on the tire is not normally a good thing.
Yeah, that dont sound good at all. So far I havent experienced anything like that. I have heard this mentioned to me by somebody else though, but it should be covered under warranty, Moto Guzzi has a good warranty. Anything can happen to any bike, and sometimes, when they roll out a new model you take a chance with their being some hiccups, which I know sucks, but all in all this bike has been good to me so far, except for very few little things.

Your color is outstanding

Agreed, the European emission compliance probably why it has the mid range dip in torque power as well, because they tuned it to run too lean.
Is the black paint peeling, or are you just leaving skin chunks on it from touching the pipes when they're hot? 🤣
On second examination it may be skin chunks

Oxford Heritage saddlebags are cheap n sweet , aftermarket exhaust and a Beatlemap remap and youll have a new Bike.
Ill have to look into all these, thanks

I reckon they overfilled the rear drive.
As BMAC says, it was a recall issue. The amount of oil in the final drive has now been reduced.
Where did you get the flyscreen?
LFS Garage, bottom of the description I believe.
That's Italian workmanship for you. They are design gods , but reliability not s o much.
Its actually been reliable, except for the exhaust header paint lol. But the bike has 2 year factory warranty I believe so should be covered.
Mine has a warranty claim in for the exact same reason not as bad as yours but peeling in parts.
@@bikerbeliever8169 I hope they do. It's a beautiful bike though. Enjoy it and ride safe brother.
LOL Unreliable exhaust paint. Buy a spray can and sort it.
@@smeghead61 the fact is that it shouldn't happen on a brand new bike. Just saying.
