    At first I thought it was just another stupid 350 Chevy.
    then I saw it was a Y-block!!!
    This thing rules.

    Finally, a Ford engine in a Model A Ford hot rod! Nothing against them but you hate seeing dozens of these cars and the words "small block Chevy" associated. Nice to see something different, this motor, a Caddy engine, a Buick Nailhead! But I like this set up a lot.

    A little polishing and body work n paint and you got a very nice hotrod i dont think this is a ratrod its properly built with correct parts. This is not a thrown together piece of junk, thats what ratrods are haha

    so is the gas tank still between the driver and engine or somewhere else

    • @samspace81
      @samspace81  9 років тому

      Its got a custom aircraft tank behind the driver now to my knowledge. This car was actually featured on the Discovery Channel as well!

    • @Kalkas53
      @Kalkas53 9 років тому +1

      the original a's have the gas tank in front of the driver which really isn't safe
      but this brings up another question where do you put the gas nozzle for fill ups?

    • @samspace81
      @samspace81  9 років тому

      Kalkas53 That would be a question for the current owner. Are you out there in cyberspace? :)

      not really

    • @samspace81
      @samspace81  9 років тому

      Kalkas53 Yeah I sold this car over a year ago. It only had a gas can in the back when I sold it, rudimentary setup. I understand that a very cool old aircraft oxygen tank was retro-fitted as a fuel tank currently. Thanks for checking it out and enjoy my channel! - Sam

    Hey samspace81 I seen that you said you sold this car, but I was wondering if you knew any of the prior history, an old friend of mine (R.I.P) built a car very similar to this in 2010-2011 and it'd sure be cool if this was it. He and I live/lived in E. Texas.

      Milton Huff purchased it. I marketed it and made the videos in Terrell Texas for Texas Motor Toys now closed. No idea where it ended up afterwards. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. That was a memorable car and good memories for me

    they would never let something like that on our roads now , we lost ability to build rods and customs because some clowns killed themselves in one, and the government declared them unsafe for our roads
