  • UPDATE: Driven at least 3K miles with the fix with no leakage at all. I did however add high temp silicone gasket to the threads and tightened the nipple with a flathead screwdriver which you'll see when you do it.
    2006 F250 XLT 6.0 V8 powerstroke diesel, 160K miles.
This seems to be a common problem on the Ford 6.0 radiator. Beware of the tapered thread on the npt brass nipple reading into the plastic radiator! None of the J-B Weld, Loctite, standard epoxies worked on my crack.
I'll post in this description the results after a thousand miles or so.
UPDATE: Fix lasted 6 months. Then I melted poly zip ties in crack, lasted 1 month. Finally just put in new $150 G5 Aluminium radiator from Amazon, super easy.
