For the first time I really get the snatch technique, the drop has always been the issue of course. The quick transition on the drop, turning the kb at that high position [ WHILE ELBOW STILL ABOVE THE KB ] , into the 45deg hand position, ready early for the swing. Then you are just at the swing position as normal, nothing to worry about. No more jarred elbows hopefully! Thanks man, this is an encyclopaedia for sports KB ( or any kb ), you're a star
Working through this guide.... realised... Rack reposition = lat turns on more + opposite glute fires ( cross 'core' brace ). Hip + Elbow + KB + bigger muscles ( lat + glute) + cross = very solid 'platform' AND cross stabilisation AND less fatigue for smaller shoulder muscles ( rotators? ), maybe this is key, taking pressure off the shoulder head. = Go Longer !

I attempted the bent elbow swings as you taught in the beginning. They left me much sweatier than my usual straight arm swings! I like them. I also practiced some jerks, they felt good but are a new movement to me so needs refinement.

Доброго времени суток! подскажи пожалуйста,тренироваться надо с меньшим весом от соревновательного или с большим?а,вообще,выпустил бы ролик на русском,было бы вообще абалденно.ты же Русский,хоть и живёшь в Америке.Русские корни ничем не искоренить
На тренировках можно поднимать все гири которые можешь поднять, а соревновательные гири конечно же лучше поднимать основным первым подходом, легкие или тяжелые гири использовать в спомогательных подходах для наращивания выносливости и силы.
